If you purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle from Kelowna Chevrolet I highly recommend getting it inspected immediately after. Long story short, my untrained eye missed all four tires being slashed at time of purchase, and thankfully I had photo evidence that it was from before I drove it off the lot. However it wasn’t easy to convince them as they need to trust their certified workers. Which I understand. However one slash was so large ( not sure how I missed it ) it had damaged the exterior wall of the tire, resulting in safety being compromised. When my mechanics shop was changing over my tires (which Kelowna purchased for me , they just asked for me to pay for installation ) they found that my front ball joint was so loose it ALSO had compromised the safety of this vehicle. I phone them and they ultimately paid for that to be fixed as well. I applaud them for that. ( however this should have never happened) After this I decided to get the vehicle inspected on my own dollar. I informed the dealership I would be doing so considering the series of events unfolding. After inspection the shop said my rear brakes didn’t pass safety check and were needing to be replaced. I phone dealership and am ghosted for over 2 weeks. When I finally get a returned phone call their initial response was … we didn’t approve the inspection being done and did not approve me replacing my brakes. After more discussion he said he would talk to his supervisor. Another two weeks go by after me calling again to check in . . After another couple weeks after that voicemail, they finally said they would EFT me for the bill. ( I’m sure to just say good riddance 😉) I realize when you buy used you take a chance. However, when you buy from a certified pre owned reputable dealership , that risk should be lessened. There’s always a chance for a lemon but in no way should you drive off a lot with slashed tires , a ball joint needing to be replaced and minimal / no rear brakes. The truck was a 2022 Chevy trail boss with 30, 000 kms in it for reference. I am no mechanic and have ZERO training in it, and yes they did cough up the money to fix but in my opinion I should not have been in this position. Possible quick inspection due to low kms? Maybe. Regardless. Get your vehicles inspected. Despite them ghosting me , doubting me and blaming me for the the slashes, great purchase. This process took 3 months for perspective. More

keolwna chevy took the tires off the truck i bought without letting me know and replace with less quality tires. paper work was messed up and took over 3 month to get fixed. I had to go through chevy canada to get kelowna chevy to actually fix the paper work. I was constantly deceived and lied to about paper work and work that needed to be done to my truck. Everyone i talked with put the blame on other people. was told i was getting a FULL size winch bumper and kelowna chevy only put on a winch tray. I had to get the rain guards fixed because they were installed poorly. All in all..... if someone is going to buy a chevy.... go to the GM dealer in kelowna or go to a chevy dealer outside of kelowna chevrolet and DO NOT buy chevy parts and have them installed at kelowna chevrolet.... cheaper if you buy else where and better installed else where. Myself and family will NEVER deal at kelowna chevrolet ever again!!! More
