We wish to commend, Marvin Weeks, on his excellent customer service and wish to acknowledge his exemplary committment to solving a client problem even though it was NOT his department nor was he under any obligation to look into the problem. Son had bought a brand new 2019 Chev 1500 in 2019 and after three recalls and repairs to his seat, the truck while running an errand decided to quit and not restart. Had it towed home, problem found on computer but no replacement part was to be found. Words given were, obsolete, can't get, no longer made. Being a red seal diesel mechanic he had many contacts but no one had a solution plus he found out some other people with 2019 Chev's had same problem with one, actually, catching fire! Well, he required a truck for work so went out and purchased one and his 2019 Chev sat since Jan/26 to July/26. When a salesman from Township called to ask if he would consider trading his 2019 truck for a new one, he told him what had happened. After hearing the story, I contacted Marvin to just see if there was anything he could advise. Marvin took it upon himself to find a suitable part, son went down for 7am the next morning, with a few adjustments part was, finally, on and truck working as good as new!! This is ALL thanks to Marvin and ONLY Marvin!! Son is now trying to sell the 2019 Chev as he doesn't require two and it is thanks to Marvin that it is back to working like new and for sale! We just had to acknowledge Marvin for taking the time out of his busy work day to address and find a suitable solution to this aggravating problem. Wish we would have contacted him in January when it happened. Sure would have saved much grief! Son contacted the other people with the same problem and advised them to go to Township with the part number that Marvin had used to purchase the part, so Marvin may have added additional sales for the parts department. One can't get better service for something out of his department, than what Marvin did for our son! Hat's off to you, Marvin, YOU ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST for customer service! Owe you big time!!
