I had a disappointing experience at Whitby Honda. We were informed that Tony, the sales manager, would be assisting us, and were asked to wait. After 30 minutes with no follow-up or communication, we returned to the reception desk, where Tony assured us he would be get a sales rep. Despite this, we waited an additional 15 minutes with no response. During this time, we observed several other individuals — also without appointments — who arrived after us and were promptly assisted.
We completely understand that the dealership may have been busy; however, we should have been advised if walk-ins were not being accommodated at the time or if the expected wait would be upwards of an hour. That information would have allowed us to make better use of our time or return at a more suitable moment. This lack of transparency and communication was frustrating and unprofessional. Based on this experience, I would hesitate to recommend Whitby Honda.
