Had a frustrating experience. Went in due to a recall notice for my vehicle which was a fuse replacement at 8:06 am. Which was supposed to be an easy replacement and ended up waiting for two and a half hours! I was the third car before they even opened but wasted a day waiting around. Absolutely disappointed, I could have done the fuse replacement at home for less than 10 minutes! I asked them how long it would take so my wife an I could have breakfast till they finish the work! Madison said it wouldn't even take an hour. Low and behold. It's 10:00am and we tried calling to get an update. No one answered the call at the service drive through so we decided to go back and ask her how long, she replied they haven't even taken our car in. (Two hours into me dropping it off!) It is extremely inconvenient and frustrating. It was a waste of two and a half hours of my day waiting!

Mississauga Hyundai's service team is either fraudulently taking my money or the team and the parts they use are so subpar they might as well have done nothing. Services paid for to replace and/or repair parts are either not being done or not completed correctly. My vehicle has been serviced multiple times by this location costing several thousands of dollars this year alone for the same reoccurring issues: stuck door lock, rear lamp replacement, and problematic AC. The problems, no matter how simple or complex, are never really fixed. I question where my money is actually going.

On [31st December ], while driving on street , my vehicle unexpectedly stopped in the middle of the road. Visited Thornhill Hyundai for my second oil change and both time after the oil change I have oil leaks which has destroyed my drive way with oil stains. At the service department there is poster which says factory trained Hyundai technicians and Hyundai genuine parts designed and engineered specifically for your Hyundai . Now I am wondering how true is it when they can’t even do a oil change properly I don’t know weather it is the genuine part or trained technicians at fault.

I want to draw attention to the supportive assistance provided by the team at the Stratford Hyundai, Service Department. Last week I noticed a concerning message on my instrument panel. I was sure I had mistakenly pushed some button to get this message. I went to my local dealership but given I did not have an appointment with a technician they were too busy to look at my car. I called Stratford Hyundai where I purchased my car and they immediately provided support: Tim tried to problem solve with me over the phone but I was not able to get this message off my instrument panel. I asked if it would be possible for someone at the service department to look at my car if I came to Stratford. Tim advised yes, a technician could look at my car. I live an hour from Stratford and when I arrived Meg ,the technician, immediately came out to my car and showed me what button I had accidentally pushed. Meg also showed me how to correct this problem. This process took 5-10 minutes. Later that day Tim text me to find out if I was satisfied with the resolution of the problem. Tim and Meg went above and beyond to provide assistance and support. I’m glad I purchased my car at Stratford Hyundai, but instead of changing to my local dealership I continue to drive the hour to the Stratford dealership because of their Service Department which is dedicated to providing assistance to customers. When it’s time for me to purchase a new car I will do so at Stratford Hyundai, given I know the quality of service and support I have always received over the past 6 years that I have been attending the Service Department for regular car maintenance. Thank you again Tim and Meg for taking the time to help me and ensuring that I was satisfied that the problem had been resolved to my satisfaction. Sincerely Very Satisfied Customer

I am disappointed with Hyundai for persuading customers to purchase additional warranties that provide no coverage. For example, I opted for the extended warranty for our tires, only to be informed that it does not cover them due to wear and tear. Despite our car being only two years, the tires, which cost over $550 each, should last longer than two years. Similarly, we also purchased the warranty for scratches and dents, but to no avail. They claimed that the scratch was too long or the dent too deep, rendering it not covered. It seems that they upsell customers on these extras, giving a false sense of security. Furthermore, I am disappointed in Adam Parry, Service Manager, for not following through on his promise to address the situation. Despite assuring me that he would resolve the issue, I never received any further communication from him. Until my new situation with my tires when he did contact me, He informed me that they recommend us to get our tires rotated every 12,000 km or every second oil change, but they don’t inform you that you need to get it done for warranty purposes. I mentioned about the scratch and dent, and he informed me that the paper work must have gotten lost and he would check. After both claims were denied, he got someone else to call to inform. It is clear that I will now handle my vehicle maintenance elsewhere, ensuring to keep all receipts for warranty purposes. It is likely that they will find reasons to deny coverage, as they have done with everything else.

Parts were ordered and my vehicle was ready a couple of days later. Michelle was fantastic and went out of her way to keep me informed of the repair process. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

I got my 2015 Santa Fe serviced on September 11/24 at Streetsville/Nav Bhattia’s Hyundai (SO #471943) to have the starter, front wheel, and brake and tail lights that were all acting up or malfunctioning looked at. I was taken care of in the service shop by the assistant service manager Chetan Batra and Omar, both of whom were great in person. An Uber was arranged to take me back home which was nice. Total charges for a new battery, ball joint and 2 lights was $830 or so - very, very pricey. I was told the starter was perfectly fine but right after I left to run some errands that late afternoon, the starter was still acting up. I emailed Chetan 4 times that same evening, with each email containing videos I took of the dashboard while the starter malfunctioned. He didn’t respond to any of my emails. On September 13th I got a call from a female named Alia from Streetsville/Nav Bhattia’s Hyundai to see how my recent service experience was, to which I responded that I wasn’t very satisfied, explained the situation to her and requested a manager call me back. She advised me that one would but to date, as of this writing on October 5th, nobody ever bothered to call me. This lack of accountability and behavior is shameful, having been clearly exhibited at different levels of the location or organization. Based on my poor customer experience, I wouldn’t recommend anyone getting their car serviced here… one can only imagine that the sales department may be as poor but who knows really.

Qauison charged an assessment fee before looking at a warranteed issue. Road tested, issue was re produced. Somehow the technician claimed they couldn't re produce the issue. Video of the issue exists. Carrie is an assistant service manager and personable. She has to follow Quaison's unethical decision. Hyundai customer service is remarkably useless. No one appears to be trained in what they sell . The recalls , or campaigns on the vehicle places it into about 10 dealer visits within 3 years.

Was not required service only suggested. Tried contacting Nav on instagram but I guess he is too busy being the superman to care about the crappy business practices of his management team. Selling the car and leaving the brand altogether.
