I recently visited the Pitt Meadows Volkswagen dealership - Jetta Highline

I recently visited the Pitt Meadows Volkswagen dealership and the whole service team was amazing. Doug Dacosta, a Senior Service Advisor went above and beyond giving me the best customer experience. He treated myself and other customers with such class. My car was serviced in a timely manner and was even washed. Doug makes you feel like you’re fully taken care of when you visit Volkswagen. Thank you. Highly recommended!

Really happy with our experience at Capilano Volkswagen! - jessicagauthier

Really happy with our experience at Capilano Volkswagen! We came down from Kamloops to purchase our Audi SQ5 and everyone was friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. We did have to wait a bit for the vehicle to be ready, but they were replacing the brakes, completing the inspection and detailing it, and this was right after the Thanksgiving long weekend. We appreciated that they took the time to make sure everything was done properly rather than rushing it. We absolutely love the car and would definitely buy from them again! Great service and communication.

We are on our 3rd VW vehicle from you and are writing to - rchipps

We are on our 3rd VW vehicle from you and are writing to share our satisfaction. We have had trade-ins for 2 Jetta, & pruchase of a second hand 2020 Tiguan. Your vehicle service is thorough and we are well informed of all the work required and completed. Your staff is friendly polite and considerate of our time and costs. We usually deal with Michelle who always knows us and asks how we are, as well as our vehicle. She assists us with every detail and does all she can to assist us herself. This time we were not able to use your customer vehicle so we had to rent a car. Michelle went out of her way trying to keep our rental to one day instead of two. We are very grateful for her consideration and we thank her again. Our satisfaction with your service is 5/5 and with Michelle is 10/5! Randy and Laura Chipps, May 31, 2025

I had my 2021 Atlas stalled on the street. - Namandeep

I had my 2021 Atlas stalled on the street. I called Jim Pattison VW service center because I got my car from the same dealership. When I called and explained the situation there was no clear sense of customer ship on the call of helping their customer. I explained what error i see on the screen which was "Error: Fuel System Error!" I explained that I know I have half tank full and its also showing its empty but I still went ahead and added another 15 liters of gas which i just got from Gas station using jerrycan and it still says tank is empty. I was asked to tow car in. I asked can you look at my car today (this was around 11-12 in the morning). The manager from service center told me that they are short on staff today because somebody called in sick and they are full schedule for today so they will try if not tomorrow morning he will do it. Car towed in, I called around 5 pm and asked if they looked at it. They had no clue about the whole situation. Next day same nobody had any clue. only around 2pm file was created. Again 4th time I am explaining the same thing and told the whole story again. been told they cant look at it today and it might be tomorrow. ok next day got a call back and I was told it was wire and connector damage and they will replace it and it will cost whatever. I approved. I was also told that there was no gas in the tank and it was empty. I again explained how come it must be almost full or at least 3/4 tank. because i filled it 2 days ago and another 15 liters added just before it was towed. Are you sure there is no leaks. They said no leaks but tank was empty. Next day, i went to pick up the car, I asked about the empty tank situation again. I was again told it was empty and they added gas. I paid and when i turned the car on it was 3/4 tank. I went back in asked the receptionist and the manager in service department and again both said yeah it was empty and when i told them i checked and its 3/4 tank. they went to mechanic and both said we had miscommunication. Continuing from previous question: At this dealership I had an amazing experience buying but not so great with service. They are catastrophically mismanaged from servicing the customer, customer empathy, documentation, tracking communicating, even explaining what is done on the call. Every time I ask a question, they all running like headless chickens. Your staff in service center must know what is happening. Its like working in a paint shop and you are color blind. I am not coming back, I will rather drive more where I have confidence in the dealership and its built with communication and care. I will for sure spread the word but what is good(sales) and bad(service). Basically which means you care about selling only and not taking care of your customers. I will sharing the same info with the corporate as well. The exact same feedback was sent to the dealership 3months ago and no one from the dealership contacted in last 3 months to see what went wrong and how they can improve. I am now posting it on public platform to share my experience with the world

Outstanding purchase experience and follow up from Blair... - 08SierraSLT

Outstanding purchase experience and follow up from Blair MacKeigan and the team at Turner VW. We were searching for a specific vehicle (Alltrack), and had several to choose from at various dealers in BC. Straightforward, honest communication from Blair brought our business to Turner in spite of several options closer to Van Isle. We are knowledgeable about the auto business, and have high expectations of sales teams, Blair exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process, as did the rest of the team as we worked out details on some additional options we wanted on the car before purchase, and doing long distance resolution of a minor issue with the hood wrap. Highly recommended!

Regarding my 2015 vw jetta, TDI. - Lee.nielsen

Regarding my 2015 vw jetta, TDI. Long story short, one morning car would not start, had it towed to Sunwest VW in Courtenay B.C. They said it was a faulty low pressure fuel pump relay. Replaced with a new one, cost $530.00 Drove it around town for a couple of hours and car would not start again. Towed it back to dealer. They now told me it was the high pressure fuel pump and the cost would be $5,500 on top of the original $530.00. At this point I decided to have the car towed to another repair shop. They told me it was likely a clogged fuel filter and replaced it, cost for parts and labour $165.00. Car now has been running for a week with no issues. I WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH SUNWEST VW AGAIN.

Excellent purchase experience - tirekicker

I recently bought a 2018 Atlas at this dealership. I had no connections to anyone who works there so I randomly ended up dealing with Stacey Wright. I’m a knowledgeable purchaser that is informed about pricing margins, equipment, add-on options/packages, and sales tactics. I’m confident and will never hesitate to walk away or haggle for an extra week if need be. I’m not a jerk when I negotiate, and I like to find a fair middle ground for both the salesperson and myself. We both have bills to pay. However, I have found that I have had to be extremely firm and fend off constant shady sales tactics when negotiating purchases from the various dealers in in Prince George over the years. For example, the last time I bought a truck from another dealership, the deal took two visits and about ten lengthy phone calls to close, lasting about a week in total. How many people would have caved in long before that and accepted an unfairly inflated price? Dealing with Stacey Wright at this VW dealership was a breath of fresh air in comparison. She was honest, she offered a reasonable price, and she didn’t aggressively push particular options/packages that I feel are unnecessary and unduly expensive. I know sales people are required to push these options/packages because they are quite profitable but I think a trustworthy salesperson will do their duty (offer them) but won’t disrespect their customer by convincing them that they are needed or will save them buckets of money down the line. I never give my opinion to a salesperson about these options/packages. Instead I use them as a litmus test to see if the salesperson is a straight shooter. Stacey passed with flying colours. It allowed me to feel confident about an additional option I did end up purchasing and the answers she provided to other questions I had. Did I get the absolute lowest price I could have gotten on this Atlas? I’m pretty sure I didn’t. Did I walk away feeling like I got a fair price with good advice on other elements of the purchase that will significantly impact what I expect to be ten years of ownership of this vehicle? Definitely. To me, that’s the better deal because I’d rather be confident and secure with my purchase options long-term, than to haggle for an extra $800. I’ve negotiated four vehicle purchases in Prince George to date and this is the first time that I’ve willingly let a significant margin slide. I really enjoyed the purchasing experience with Stacey and felt like she deserved it. This was further confirmed to me when she gave the “send-off vehicle tour” of the Atlas after we closed the deal and I was about to drive off the lot. I was truly impressed with her knowledge of this new model and attention to communicating important details. She’s clearly done her homework and is invested in her job. I would recommend Stacey to every kind of buyer. She’s fair, honest, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to deal with.
