Worst experience at a car dealership ever. They don't know how to service Honda Hybrids. Came in with a red IMA light, indicating that the hybrid battery pack was dead. So they charged us $380 to replace the 12V starter battery and then go drive it and see if the IMA light goes off. Well guess what, a Civic Hybrid charges the 12V from the IMA system, which means the car's electric systems were running exclusively from the 12V battery and draining it. The car stalled in traffic while driving!! So, not realizing how badly I've been ripped off yet, not having done my own research yet, I go back to the dealership and ask what they'd take as a trade in on the 2008 Civic Hyrid. The sales guy offers me $100 value, as he says that a Hybrid with a dead IMA is undriveable and worthless. Why then charge me $380 to install a new 12V starter battery in a worthless unusable car? Their salesperson seemed more knowledgeable about hybrids than their service staff. These thieving crooks will lie, steal, and endanger their customer's lives!!! More
Agonizing and overall distasteful experience. I have been observing "Winnipeg Honda's" services declining from last couple of years. And specially my recent last two visits were was horrible. I have been observing "Winnipeg Honda's" services declining from last couple of years. And specially my recent last two visits were was horrible. I bought my 2004 Honda Accord EX (V6 ) from Winnipeg Honda dealer on December 14, 2011. Till date I have done all the maintenance of my accord through their service department. On November 12th 2016 I was there for oil change. After then my car engine making an occasional noise, it came on and off, besides that my remote starter also stopped working and due to the fault both engine light and maintenance light were on. During that time I have dialed their service department's number several times, unfortunately, did not get any call back from them within next three weeks. After the snow storm on December 6th, I heard a clinching noise coming from my car's passengers side wheel. Luckily I got an appointment after waiting on hold for more than 40 minutes, I took my car there on Saturday (December 10th)morning, the service adviser took me to the General Manager (GM) after hearing everything. The general manager told me to drop off the car for whole night and a day. On Monday evening I dropped off my car at Winnipeg Honda, provided me a rental car (due to GM's promise). Yesterday (Tuesday, December 13th) around 1:30 pm I received the service adviser's call, he told me engine light and maintenance light problem solved, Gas performance was diagnosing remote starter's issue. He also gave me an estimated cost for replacing one 'ball-joint' and the total services which was around CAD 424 plus tax. Around 2pm I contacted him and approved ball-joint replacement work. I went to the Winnipeg Honda's service department around 5pm (Tuesday, December 13th), waited for another half hour to finish their job done. The service adviser told me that they were unable to fix the remote starter issue, but they fix other problem. I was so frustrated and he brought his manager for clarification. The service manager had no idea regarding my car issues and he wanted to hear it again. I described everything and also mentioned my concern about the remote started as I need that one every morning in this bitter winter to warm the car and drop my 5 year old to school. He performed his role as a manager, I was not satisfied with his services and words. When it was time to pay the bill I was shocked seeing the final amount, it was CAD 628. I was not mentally prepared for that kind of shock after a hectic evening. Later the service manager reprint the bill and I had to pay CAD 525. I have never experienced such worst services in Winnipeg. I have decided not going to "WINNIPEG HONDA" for any services or buy any vehicle from them in my rest part of life. They just wasted my time and money. This morning (Wednesday, December 15th, 2016) I feel mentally traumatic and planning to talk to my doctor soon. More

After much searching we stopped by Winnipeg Honda. Tyson Reimer approached us and asked if he could be of assistance. We explained our dilemma and he went to work searching the dealership's inventory and showed us potential cars. Unfortunately none were quite what my daughter wanted. Rather than giving up he searched the entire Crown dealerships inventory and found the exact car my daughter was looking for and took us to see it. We bought it and my daughter is very happy. Tyson spent quite a bit of time with us but got us exactly what we wanted. He was very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend him highly. Sarah and Tom More
Cheating customers Today (19.03.2016) I went to get a scheduled service and I asked to installed two fuses and specifically pointed out which fuses need to be installed Today (19.03.2016) I went to get a scheduled service and I asked to installed two fuses and specifically pointed out which fuses need to be installed in my car. But they have charged 64.50 CAD as labors (invoce No.HOCS424682) and they did not say anything about that and I did not asked about that since they did not charge single cent (Invoice No.: HOCS357423) to installed the SAME fuse last time. Note that last time I asked about the charge. When I said about that to the lady who handle that she did not at least reduce single cent from that instead of try to say xxxxs... Further in the same bill they have charged 42.35 CAD as labor to installed break lights. This is also a ridiculous amount. Further, please check in youtube how it is easy to installed a break light.... Never Recommand this place for anyone and I want my money back which is stolen from me..... Cheaters........ Don't go.... More

They found brake oil dirty, one of the brake lights on rare windshield burnt out. Fixing labor cost another 50. I picked it up and found out there was a loud noise from the fan and my windshield cracks. Drove back right in, the manager came and said the crack was originated from stone chip, go see MPI and the noise will cost me money for fixing. I was really pissed off. I had them open apart and they found a piece of tissue paper. I never used a tissue ever, how can I suddenly have a tissue paper in the fan? I drove back unhappily just to found out that there was also another noise in the fan. I drove back, the guy said if I wanted it look at, I have to pay for diagnosis. At this point, after spending 450 bucks, I was really pissed off. He was saying he couldn't help it everything was "co-incident". My car ran fine with no noise and then after taking in for a service, it came out with noises. If I want to get it checked, I have to pay for it again!!? WOW so pissed off... never ever go back to Honda for a service and I do not recommend this place, ever. More
