I bought my 2011 Honda Civic from Josh on April 31st, 2011. The entire experience was beyond amazing. My fiance and I had been to visit several dealerships previously, and we were getting a little exha 2011. The entire experience was beyond amazing. My fiance and I had been to visit several dealerships previously, and we were getting a little exhausted with the very forward sales approach that every dealership seemed to employ. It was a sigh of relief when we walked into Winnipeg Honda and were not instantly bombarded with sales staff. We had a chance to walk around the showroom, check out the vehicles, and become comfortable with the environment before Josh approached us. He was very laidback, easy going and best of all - NOT PUSHY! We told him we were interested in the civic, and he gave us some highlights about the car and then suggested a test drive right away! It is always kind of awkward asking to take a car for a test drive, so I really appreciated the fact that he offered one! Obviously we loved the test drive, he even let us take it for a drive by ourselves which is always great. After the test drive we got down to business and working out numbers. He explained the differences between a lease and regular financing at least 15 times to me before I completely understood, but he did it with patience and finesse! When we finally made a deal I felt like I was receiving a great car for a fair price. I was able to pick it up two days later, and the paper signing and contract information with Judy was smooth and painless, as was the complimentary shuttle ride to insure my new car. The icing on the cake was the big red bow sitting on my shiny new car when we came back from the insurance broker, and driving it right out of the showroom! Josh made my car buying experience relaxing and fun. He never rushed us, never pushed the deal, and was inifinitely patient with my numerous questions - which he answered with confidence and knowledge. I think the best thing about Josh is that he is genuine and honest, not adjectives you normally associate with car salesmen! He clearly loves Honda and showing people how great car shopping can be, and that is reflected in every way he interacts with customers. Two months later my fiance wrote off his car, and who should we run into at Winnipeg Honda but Josh Doiron! And he remembered us! We had another exceptional experience with Josh and the entire Winnipeg Honda team, and my fiance is now a proud owner of a 2008 Honda CRV! The best part of that experience is that it was just as amazing as the first even though we were purchasing a used vehicle. I felt like we were discussing our car purchase with a friend over beers, not hacking out a deal with a car salesman - and trust me that is how you want it to feel! The only complaint I have is that Honda only gives you a 1/2 tank of gas when you purchase used, and they don't shampoo the interior. Had an appointment for service, advised that "book" says 2 hours for repair so waited for repair. After one and a half hours while taking a walk around the lot I noticed my car had not been star "book" says 2 hours for repair so waited for repair. As a had a prior appointment in an hour I talked to the service rep who,very professionally, stated he would go and check. He reurned to say that he talked to the technician and the car would be finished in about 1/2 hour. As I had the prior appointment, I decided to leave and return to pick up car later! The service rep phoned me an hour and a quarter later stating that I could pick up car. When looking at the labour charge I was shaking my head at what works out to $500 an hour labour. The service representaive got indignant and said that's what the "book" says! My "book" says I should charge them the equivalent of $750 an hour for sitting around and waiting so I guess I should get a refund! Parts that were replaced were supplied by me and it is written on invoice old parts to be returned! I guess they are in the mail with my refund! More
