Well, I had no reason to worry. Eric was so helpful and found me exactly what I was looking for! He really listened to what I wanted and made sure to explain everything to me in a way I could understand so that I was making the best decision possible. The experience at Winnipeg Honda was fabulous. From the moment my husband and I walked in the door we felt that the sales staff (in particular, Eric) was going to work hard to meet our needs. We were immediately greeted upon entering the dealership - a little thing that we truly appreciate and then led to Eric's desk. From this moment on, we were listened to, understood, and recognized as actual "people" and not merely customers. Again, a feeling that we appreciate - and that you don't readily find at all dealerships! Eric's efforts to find us a car that met our needs and was within the budget we presented during our first meeting were not lost. Within a few weeks I had news that my new car was arriving, and even though the edition I wanted did not come with all the options I had requested, the dealership (and Eric) were working hard to add in the extras as quickly as possible...which turned out to be the next day! Such fabulous attention, caring sales staff and beautiful attitudes are, sadly, not defaults in the customer service industry these days, but you will definitely find these attributes at Winnipeg Honda...and most certainly if you are fortunate enough to work with Eric. I have had two VERY bad previous experiences with Honda dealerships in London, Ontario in the past 10 years. Jeremy (Product Advisor), Judy (Business Manager), Dustin (Sales Manager), along with Dennis Flack (Parts), and the Detailing Departments exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Everything that was promised, was delivered upon and then some, even to the degree of saving me extra money on the purchase/financing options along with many other items that went along with the purchase. I am not sure if I would recommend this dealership. Yesterday, my son and I went in to buy a car for him. We got great service from James and Jeremy. In fact we have nothing to say wrong about them. It is the next day service that was disappointing.We were told that we would hear from them. We were expecting to hear on the result of the financing today with an expected appointment to pick up the car on Monday. We heard nothing today. Tomorrow the dealership is closed. We don't know if the financing went through, there is no appointment to pick up the car. Right now we are wishing we could cancel the deal. We are so disappointed because we had such a good experience with the salesmen. Winnipeg Honda should ultimately come through with a better deal for us,so that we will not feel like we were ambushed and taken advantage of. A week and a bit Later the dealership has come through with some compensation - a free tank of gas and a free oil change. At least they were able to accept some responsibility for their failure to communicate. The customer service evaluation is therefore considered to be good. More
