Best experience buying a car from a dealership hands down! Found me the car i wanted even at a lower price than i was expecting. They made sure i didn't leave without bein satisfied, listened to what i down! Found me the car i wanted even at a lower price than i was expecting. James Cracknell did an amazing job of showing us everything we wanted to see; he made sure he vehicles we were interested in available for a test drive, and patiently, and without any pressure allowed us the time we needed to make the big decision. I must add, the "family gathering" of all the employees and the well wishes when we picked up the vehicle was a very special touch, and certainly made us feel like part of the Winnipeg Honda Family. Keep up the good work! More
Wow... where to start? I would have to say that my experience with Winnipeg Honda has been unsettling. When I first met with salesman Andy Chan, he definately left me feeling pressured to put a depos experience with Winnipeg Honda has been unsettling. When I first met with salesman Andy Chan, he definately left me feeling pressured to put a deposit on the used vehicle that I was looking at. I did agree to put a deposit down after being assured that several reservations that I had regarding the condition of the vehicle would be taken care of if I commited to the purchase. After that initial meeting, Andy's professionalism has been outstanding! There has never been any delay to any of my e-mails or phone calls and he has gone out of his way to ensure that I was being kept up to date on the work being done on the vehicle I was purchasing. The reconditioning took eight days to complete but on the day I was scheduled to pick the vehicle up I got a call advising that a repair to the leather seat needed to be redone (this was the first repair that had been completed in the reconditioning!). I was given the option to either leave the vehicle there and pick it up in a couple more days or I could pick it up as scheduled and the repair could be done at my home that same evening. When I agreed to pick it up as scheduled I confirmed the pick-up time and location for my promised ride to the dealership. I stood outside in 30 degree heat waiting for my ride but it showed up 30 minutes late. Since I was late arriving at the dealership, I had to wait to talk to Judy Zulak to complete the financing paperwork as she was tied up with another customer. Judy was very pleasant and did her best to hurry me through everything so that I could make it home in time to meet the leather repairman. I managed to get home just minutes before the repairman was to meet me but my wife advised that he had called to let us know that he was not going to be able to make it and we ended up having to reschedule for a couple of days later. Now that I was home I had a closer look at the vehicle and was dismayed to find that the summer floor mats appeared to be very dirty, there was a fair bit of dog hair on the roof liner and quite a bit of dog hair in the storage compartments for the tire jack. While the exterior received a 'cut and polish' I found several areas where the polishing compound was still on the paint and the lower rocker panels where dirty. It was obvious that the exterior had not actually been washed. So, as you can see, my experience with Winnipeg Honda's customer service has been a mixed bag. The people I dealt with directly were very friendly and did their best to take care of me while the basics of simply giving the vehicle a good cleaning appear to have been rushed through. This along with the fact that the leather repair needs to be redone don't inspire me with confidence in my purchase. The repairs that I requested were contracted out for the most part and I am happy with the workmanship (the jury is still out on the leather repair as it still needs to be redone... and I really don't know what to think of the repairs durability) but I was disappointed that the dealership couldn't find the time to clean the vehicle more thoroughly since they did have it for over a week. While the price was reasonable I definately did not like the 'non-negotiable' tire and rim protection and theft protection that all purchasers must buy. These items add over $800 to the total price tag and the odds that I will ever use them are very slim indeed. This takes a reasonable price and edges to the very edge of what I would consider reasonable. So, in the end, some very friendly staff sold me a vehicle for an OK (not great) price and the dealership's lack of attention to detail left me wondering if I have just made a big mistake spending all my money on this vehicle. Some might think that I am being unreasonable but after spending more than $22,000 on a 5 year old used vehicle I would like to think that I deserve to come home just as giddy as if I had bought a new vehicle. I just can not recomend a dealership that left me feeling underwhelmed like this. More
Went to Winnipeg Honda to look for a new car. We dealt with Andy and Elvis these two guys know their stuff and funny to boot. Took me for a test drive in a Honda civic and was sold on it immediately. Pankaj - PK - salesman/rep?- name not there on the list above - he was great - answered all my questions frankly - made me feel I am making the right decision - don't regret it all - he called me and emailed me to check me comfort level with the HONDA CRV 2009 that I have bought. This is customer service par excellence. He is a good human being - this is important for me. Keep up the excellent work. More
