Service was dishonest - unnecessary repairs Over several months this dealer damaged the wheels where the wheel studs broke off, claimed I had a transmission line oil leak, when I checked there w Over several months this dealer damaged the wheels where the wheel studs broke off, claimed I had a transmission line oil leak, when I checked there was none, repeated an oil change one month apart and had to replace the oil plug because the used an impact wrench to remove it and stripped the threads. The tires they put on the car were mismatched tire sizes. Then they charged for a transmission oil and filter change they did not do. Transmission shifted so badly I went to another dealer to get it done and the problem went away. To top it off, when I filled in the GM survey on what happened, the service manager emailed me and said I should never come back !!! Wilson Niblett treats customers as 'marks'. I'll never go back!! Arrogant - missed a sale 3 years later and I am still so angry that I feel compelled to write a review. Early 2011 we were in the market for a new car and were pretty much 3 years later and I am still so angry that I feel compelled to write a review. Early 2011 we were in the market for a new car and were pretty much set on Hyundai Elantra or a Ford Focus. With two kids in tow we visited the respective dealerships and test drove the vehicles. On the way home we drove by Wilson Niblett. Having read goods things about the then new Chevrolet Cruze, we decided spontaneously on third stop - mind you not for a test drive - just to take a quick look at the car (with the fresh impression of our two preferred option in our mind). There was no Cruze in the showroom, but one was parked right at the entrance. We asked the very nice lady at the front desk if she could unlock the vehicle for us to take a quick look at the inside. She went back to one of the salespeople and politely asked for the key. The guy just hollered at her: "Can't you see that I am with a client. They (meaning us) will have to wait". Again, we just wanted the car unlocked to take a quick look - no test drive, no sales pitch ... Not surprisingly we did not wait. Ironically, we test drove the Cruze the next weekend at another dealership. Loved it from the get go and bought it there. Wilson lost out on sale - and the service with it. Despite being our closest dealer we now service with the great Highland GM in Aurora! More
