Would rather you service your vehicle else where Had a potential issue that might be covered under a warranty enhancement program (WEP), so i went in asking if it was worth booking an appointment eve Had a potential issue that might be covered under a warranty enhancement program (WEP), so i went in asking if it was worth booking an appointment even if it didn't meet the requirements 100%. Was told if it is that part that is described in the WEP was causing the issue then yes they would look at replacing it. So book an appointment for a few days later. Go in for the appointment and after 2 hours (30 min of which was them looking at the car) because it didnt have the code it doesnt qualify. My dash cam also picked up a conversation between the tech and the shop forman, where due to my lack of history servicing my vehicle with them (moved closer to them a few years ago and had issues with them see other review i hadn't gone back) was told to "go back to his f****** dealership" and "he can f*** off we wont fix it for him". Not exactly the conversation you'd expect from a dealership trying to help you resolve a issue. Service manager also didnt care had a "why are you wasting my time" body language when i tried to get clarification on the notes that were going to be provided to Toyota head office. I get that my car didnt qualify for the WEP but to be lied to when booking the appointment that it wouldn't matter, and being told to go back to my dealership doesnt seem like a dealership that wants repeat business. This was their last chance i'll never be stepping foot inside their doors again and will recommend this to everyone i know. More
Service beyond my expectations I've been a customer at Whitby Toyota for almost 25 years, and consider myself a loyal, but not always easy to please supporter of the brands I choose I've been a customer at Whitby Toyota for almost 25 years, and consider myself a loyal, but not always easy to please supporter of the brands I choose to purchase. ( Toyota is at the top of that brand list.) Recently I had a few issues which were further compounded by some miscommunication regarding some service related issues. After today,I want to extend my true gratitude to the whole Toyota team for not only making things right, but going way beyond what I could/ should have expected to happen in order to resolve these issues. This type of service is rare to find. My loyalty to Whitby Toyota and it's team of professionals remains as true today, as it did the first day I walked into the showroom some 25 years ago. More

I recently purchased a used 2009 Toyota Highlander from a small car dealership and I wasn't 100% confident in my purchase as the vehicle was showed 2 I recently purchased a used 2009 Toyota Highlander from a small car dealership and I wasn't 100% confident in my purchase as the vehicle was showed 2 accidents on the car report. I wanted to make sure that everything was good ok the vehicle so I took it to Whitby Toyota. I was warmly greeted by a few of the service guys, they were prompt and efficient. I told Ian and Brian my experience with the dealership and how the car was driving ok but I wanted to make sure everything was fine. They both reassured they would check it out thoroughly. They even showed me the car service history and saw that the previous owner took it to Toyota regularly for servicing. They printed off a copy and gave me to review at home. I had told them that I heard some sounds and Ian went with the mechanic to check the sound out. Then we yest drove it together. When Quason (mechanic) placed my car on the hoist, Ian called me so that I could take a look under the car to see if anything stood out. All 3 of us checked under the car. It made a huge difference to me that I was there so see them check the vehicle. It gave me a peice of mind that I didn't have before. Overall everyone was polite, patient and accommodating from the service men to the mechanics to the vice president, Ian. I loved the fact that he was hands on with the services and very attentive! As a female it's challenging going into a automotive shop as it's difficult to trust some mechanics. I trust everyone there and it was my first visit. I will definitely go back! Thank you all for giving me a peace of me. Great team of people at the Whitby Toyota! More
Amazing Service and Very Fair with Costs I had Tara Parsons, Service Consultant, today as she was great. I am a single mom and trying to save costs. My 10 year old Prius would not start in I had Tara Parsons, Service Consultant, today as she was great. I am a single mom and trying to save costs. My 10 year old Prius would not start in the morning and had to miss an appointment. CAA came and gave the car a boost as the battery died. I drive it to Whitby Toyota and they were going to charge me $19.99 to see why the car wouldn't start. Tara was amazing and got two Toyota mechanics involved to see what the problem was. It was the battery and Toyota replaced it without charging me anything. Tara looked up my services and indicated that the battery was still under warranty and drove out without paying anything for the service. The service was just wonderful and Tara went an extra mile. Not only that, but a part of my exhaust system needs replacing and another dealer recommended that when I had the money to replace it for $2000 dollars. Tara gave me a name of another place that would do the same job for $400 to $500 dollars. I really appreciate Whitby Toyota as I feel that they want the best for the costumer and aren't there to gauge you. A heart felt thanks. Shafina More
