Extremely poor service experience. I went to the dealership for detailing services (Ultimate package). First time, it was not done properly and I took it back and met the Service Manag I went to the dealership for detailing services (Ultimate package). First time, it was not done properly and I took it back and met the Service Manager whom I showed the things were not as expected. He agreed and apologized. I was asked to bring the vehicle back for redoing the detailing. I dropped the vehicle and left it for 6 days to do the jobs nicely. I dropped the vehicle after hour on Sunday evening. No one called until I followed up on Friday to know the status of the job. I talked directly with the Service Manager and he confirmed that the job is done and I can pick-up the vehicle on Saturday morning. I went today to pick up and found the service manager at the service desk and tried to talk to him but he asked me to talk to another person and left. Then I was told to wait outside that someone will be bring the car. Another person brought the car and just left without talking/handing over the car. It was so frustrating that the same issues (dirt, dust inside, stains outside etc.) remained and appeared that nothing was done. When I met the service manager, I requested him to take care of it so that I don't need to bring back again as I live in Oshawa and it costs me every time I bring the car and use uber to return. The services they provided is not even closed to the services promised on their printed brochure/explained during the service booking for the Ultimate Detailing package. I will never visit the dealership again for any services. More
For a Dealership there service prices aren't that bad compared to other local mechanics. And you know that your getting Toyota original parts Cameron is the service rep. Do not use Whitby Toyota’s service department, they’ll cut corners, and scam you. I was charged an "Environmental Recycling and Disposal" fee for a service that had no consumable parts (visual inspecti cut corners, and scam you. I was charged an "Environmental Recycling and Disposal" fee for a service that had no consumable parts (visual inspection + tire rotation). When asked why I was charged an environmental fee they simply said "everyone gets charged that", when I pressed further, the supervisor / manager came over and reviewed the invoice (I assume she was trying to see if she could find a way to justify it), then left for a few minutes and returned with an updated invoice stating "The system wouldn't let me remove the fee, so I reduced the cost of the service to compensate for it" That was just one of several issues during my LAST service appointment with them; I will NOT be going back there. I HIGHLY suggest that any customers who do still frequent this location, please review your service invoices for extra charges BEFORE paying them. It was a fight to get the charges removed, I imagine it would have been even more difficult if I had blindly paid (before even being shown an invoice). More
We would like to express our, appreciation to Amanda Moore, their Service Manager for her fantastic customer service, as well as Cameron Slater My first contact with Amanda and your management team w Moore, their Service Manager for her fantastic customer service, as well as Cameron Slater My first contact with Amanda and your management team was a couple of years ago when she followed up on an issue that I had, relating to some service work done by your dealership that apparently was not required. Your organization is one of the only ones that I have found to have integrity, honesty and great customer service. An example of that was a situation a few months ago involving a nail in one of my tires that I thought would require a plug and tire repair. You technician reported that it was only the head of the nail on the surface of the tire, and removed it without any further repair or cost required. Thank you Your organization obviously has great senior management that is reflected in people such as Amanda, and Cameron who best exemplify your organization . Amanda has been fantastic and is a great ambassador and a great “public face” for your organization to us, and is very much appreciated.
