After purchasing a vehicle at Whitby Oshawa Honda in May, we referred our mother who is a senior to purchase a vehicle cash with sales rep Christian Somoza who is always friendly, patient and very helpful. While negotiating the price, manager Trevor Carew came out to speak with us and immediately turned a pleasant interaction into a nightmare. Trevor lacked professionalism and was extremely rude. He stated he was not making money on our deal as we were paying for the vehicle cash and money is made on financing, told us we didn't know anything about business, and that any attempt to negotiate price is a slap in his face, and very condescendingly said he was "moving too fast" for us. Never have we experienced any manager as rude as he was. Our jaw was on the floor as we left the dealership with cash in hand and a wasted afternoon. Trevor Carew should not be in the service industry. He is courteous if he can make money off your deal, otherwise be prepared to be treated less than. I gave the dealership rating of 3/5 because they continue to employ rude managers like Trevor. Sorry it didn't work out Christian, your manager Trevor killed your deal. More

I’ve purchased many Honda’s and was always pleased, but this was absolutely horrible service. I fired my first rep for misleading and then lying to me. I asked for a different rep and after apologizing for this was absolutely horrible service. I fired my first rep for misleading and then lying to me. I asked for a different rep and after apologizing for the rep, was informed I’d get a call back right away, and took almost a week and 4 phone calls to get another one. Next rep was average at best. Picked up van, and got almost no explanation of features, just told to look online. The car was ‘cleaned’ and still in disgusting condition. Grease and gunk all over, and everything in the car was ‘tacky’. You’d stick to it and have to peel yourself out of the seat. The van was so bad, my wife and I took it home and cleaned it ourselves the next day. We found personal receipts, leftover dvd’s, damage we weren’t informed of, as well as the prior owner’s ownership, insurance, sales agreement, personal information like bank account info, as well as address, email and phone numbers, etc, etc. I have never been so blown away by the lack of professionalism by a dealership in my life, and I would not recommend them as a dealership to anyone. More
