In detail: My recent visit to Wheaton Honda was an unpleasant experience. I booked an appointment- the staff member was helpful, booked a time for me, and indicated that they thought my appointment would take about an hour or so. I was unpleasantly surprised to find out upon arrival that the time I had booked seems to have been a not an actual appointment time “time that you will talk with a technician and they will walk around your car, then you get placed in the queue”. I ended up waiting 2.5 hours at Wheaton, as I have no one to pick me up. The appointment was over the lunch hour, and staff “helpfully” suggested where I could buy food- as though everyone is willing and able to just go out and buy lunch given the current economic and health situation. Before I left, I tried to indicate to staff how they’d thrown my day’s plans sideways and left me hungry, but there was no apology and no acknowledgement that I had been inconvenienced at all. I realize and respect that they are working with reduced staff- that’s fine, but Wheaton, at least pretend you care about your customers and warn them of the wait. More

Even though I did not end up closing, the staff at Don Wheaton were very fair, friendly, responsive, courteous, and helpful. Altaz, the sales person, was amazing to work with. He would get me the information I wanted. He took a tonne of pictures for me and some videos of the areas I wanted to see on the car. I put a deposit pending a satisfactory test drive. He guaranteed that if I was not happy that he would refund my deposit. Let me put it this way, my drive up to Edmonton was not a waste. The Rav 4 presented even better in person. The test drive was fantastic, and best of all, the price was incredible. There was nothing underhanded and I would trust my mom to go and work with Altaz. He was kind, gentle, and honest. Good job, buddy! You deserve every dollar of the commission! More

Grossly Incompetent Service Department I had an extensive conversation with an individual who was supposed to be the service manager one week before my appointment April 7, 2020. This was I had an extensive conversation with an individual who was supposed to be the service manager one week before my appointment April 7, 2020. This was to ensure required parts would be in place as my vehicle had to arrive the night before to be properly diagnosed the following morning. I had to rent a hotel room and would have to drive 550 Km to get there so it was important that things were set up before I arrived. Sure enough the day I was to drive South a small voice said call and confirm everything is ready to go. I again asked for the service manager. When he got on the line it was apparent that this was not the same individual I had previously spoken with. I wanted to confirm the details and that the parts would be available as I would be living on the economy in the area and staying overnight in a hotel. Sure enough no parts available "must be ordered out of Calgary 24 -48 hrs" This could have left me in a hotel for 3 days living on the economy. This was warranty work to be done on a 2016 CRV. Massive let down and cost me $115 for the hotel room that won't get used. Thank god I phoned or this could have cost me a fortune being stuck in a hotel in Edmonton. I would have thought considering my vehicle is still covered under warranty and the complications of my situation that maybe the dealership could have tried to have their ducks in a row but that was simply not the case. Lucky I called first as the service department personnel will do nothing to help you no matter what your situation. More

Honest diagnose I had a problem with my Honda Civic 09. It was making some kind of grinding noise. I took it to Wheaton Honda, from where I bought my car. Next day their mechanic check in morning as well as in afternoon but surprisingly Civic didn't make any noise. Mr.Bernard Osana called me and said nothing wrong his mechanic find. They didn't charge me a single cent, instead they washed my car for FREE. This is the reason why I ALWAYS prefer to go there. I am owning 3 Honda products (SI 98, Civic 09 and HRV 17). Have always peace of mind if I have to take any one for service at Wheaton. Thanks Bernard for your service. More

When I made the buy, they actually were able to get me a lower interest rate on my auto loan than I have previously arranged, which saved me big money! After I had the truck for a month, there was a problem with it, so I called Wheaton about it. They fixed the problem and didn't charge me for labour costs at all! Plus, they also gave me a FREE loaner vehicle for over a week while my truck was in the shop. This is a dealership you can trust. They really take good care of their customers and stand by what they sell. More
