Above and Beyond Expectations! This washouts done to keep us happy and have a happy feel about having anew car from Honda west! That, too me is way too perfect for a sales person and his sakes team! 2016 CRV Purchase - Fantastic from Start to Finish We have been Honda owners since 1986 with the purchase of a Honda Accord LX. Over the past 30 years our family has driven a 1992 Accord EX, 2000 Accor We have been Honda owners since 1986 with the purchase of a Honda Accord LX. Over the past 30 years our family has driven a 1992 Accord EX, 2000 Accord SE, 2009 Civic Sedan Sport and a 2013 Civic Touring. Our most recent purchase came as a result of driving a rental SUV while on vacation. My 6'2" husband was impressed with the easy of access in and out of the vehicle. Upon returning to Calgary we made a trip to Honda West to look at our options as we have been Honda West customers since our move to Calgary 5 years ago. We were met by Darrin Hurst and were drawn to his easy going personality. Darrin is also extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He offered us the opportunity to take the test CRV for an extended drive in order for my husband to determine how his back would feel in the CRV. The ride was impressive and his back was great. Within a week we were the new owners of a 2016 CRV Touring! Darrin was attentive without being pushy or overbearing. Once we agreed to a purchase price and the value of our trade in we were put in the very capable hands of Gabe Gamauf (a fellow Maritimer). He reviewed our agreement and made the process a very smooth and enjoyable one. We love the CRV and would recommend Honda West; Darrin Hurst & Gabe Gamauf, in particular, without hesitation! More

Overall I would say it's satisfactory; although it could be better. Jeremy, the salesperson, was nice and helpful showing the new civic and helped us out with trade-in. Gabe, the finance officer, did the paper work and approval for financing. It was late friday evening so he worked on it on saturday and let us know that we are approved. So we were to pick up the car after our vacation. 2 weeks later when we went in, Gabe was on vacation at the moment and Awais just took over our file. And then Awais, another financing officer, told us Honda would not accept our insurance as the financing was done under my name but our insurance has only my husband's name. (I don't have the drivers license) So either we have to finance it together (and go through the approval again but had to wait as it was thursday evening before long weekend) or add my name on the pink card (and insurance might not agree to do so). For 2 weeks nobody bothered to let us know the honda policy regarding the name on insurance and financing issue… We were there to make a $25k+ purchase and they did not bother to make a quick double check. One phone call ahead the pick-up date could just do the fix, either re-doing the financing or adding me on the pink card. They had 2 weeks to do so. In the end thanks to Jeremy and Awais it all worked out and we took our car (we had to visit again to sign the papers), but still don't get how it could happen with one of the best rated dealers like Honda West. More

Winter upgrade I was quite impressed with Honda West, they did not push me into anything, listened to what I wanted and stuck within my budget. Even up to the day I picked up the vehicle they were still finding ways to save me money. I loved my civic, but let's be honest you need higher clearance around Calgary roads in winter time. The Honda CRV is more than what I imagined and can't wait to tackle the winter. Jeremy and Awais were class acts and I would definitely go back to them. They were both personable and professional and I would reccomend the whole Honda West crew. More
