Very Good Honda West Experience I recently traded in our truck at Honda West and purchased a new Honda vehicle from them. Gerald at Honda West was patience and worked with us to get a good value for our trade in. Overall, the process took a while and Honda West gave us a very fair/good value for the trade in. Also, purchasing a new Honda from them was a very good experience. Understanding that they are running a business, Gerald respectfully worked with us on what we wanted to spend, they were not pushy with add-ons and provided great customer service. I even had a concern/question on Honda's OEM hitch which the part guy went out to the storage yard and measured it himself to answer my question before I got it installed on the new Honda. We have also been servicing our older Honda SUV at Honda West for 6+ years and Honda West Service provides very good service too. Overall, very good experience with Honda West and look forward to working with Gerald again in a couple of years when we trade in the older Honda SUV. More

He made my purchase a very enjoyab In March 2019 I purchased my 2019 Honda CR-V from Honda West. Jim Sarantis (my salesman) was fabulous to deal with. He made my purchase a very enjoyable experience. He took his time, answered all my questions, got me the best deal possible and went above and beyond my expectations. When I brought my trade-in vehicle to the dealership, Jim kindly transferred the entire contents from the trunk of my car to the new CR-V while I was completing paperwork with the finance department. He even arranged the contents in the exact same place they were in the previous vehicle, so that I could easily find what I was looking for, He not only went over all the features of my new CR-V, but he set up the audio system for me (i.e. setting my favorite radio stations, adjusting bass/treble, etc.). If you are looking for an informative, enjoyable and "no pressure" sales experience, I highly recommend Honda West. More

Honda West or Honda Best!! I have always enjoyed working with Honda West. We are a three Honda family. '98 Civic, '07 Odessey and now a '19 Accord Touring. Jake was great, manager not so much I saw an ad on Kijiji for a used GMC cargo van at HondaWest. I went there and did a test drive with a salesperson named Jake who normally sells new ve I saw an ad on Kijiji for a used GMC cargo van at HondaWest. I went there and did a test drive with a salesperson named Jake who normally sells new vehicles not used (it was busy). Jake was great and answered all my questions the best he could. Since he usually sells new Honda's, he understandably did not know everything about the van. He was very polite and courteous. We talked about me maybe leaving a $500 deposit to hold the van for a couple of days. He said that should be fine, and the deposit would be fully refundable if I decided not to purchase it. We also chatted about if I could take the van to my mechanic for a quick inspection. It was a pleasant test drive and I liked the van. I called my mechanic and he decided to come to HondaWest and inspect the van there. I told Jake this was the plan, and we all met back at Honda West later that afternoon. Jake was nice enough to let my mechanic and I do another quick 10 minute test drive. When we got back to HondaWest, I asked to put a $500 deposit on the van to hold it for a couple of days. He said sure, I'll go get the used vehicle manager and you can set that up with him. When the manager came and spoke to me about the van, my positive experience went south. He said "we don't take deposits on used vehicles. If you want the van you should buy it now. Take it home tonight and show it to your spouse. If you both decide you don't want it, bring it back and we'll refund the money." I explained I was not comfortable doing this. He then went into high pressure sales tactics. There is a lot of demand for this van and it will sell fast he said. If you don't buy it now I can't guarantee that it will be here tomorrow. At that point I stood up and said I'm not buying the van without talking to my family about it first. I may come back in a few days. If it sells it sells and I started to walk out. As I was leaving he followed me to the door and said "OK, OK, if someone else is interested in it we'll give you a call". I did end making an appointment the following weekend with Jake and purchased the van. That experience was much better and I didn't need to deal with a manager. Jake took care of everything and had a new plate on there for me by the time I finished paying. Overall it was a good experience other then the manager not willing to take a deposit and hold the van for me. More

Jim went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and personal, including facilitating a show room delivery, bow included! He is straight-forward, responsive and made our son’s first car experience a lifetime memory. He did such an amazing job walking our son through the vehicle (not sure how much he retained, he was so excited). I also wanted to give a shout out to Joubert and Cole who both were a pleasure to deal with. Their whole process was like clockwork and they are both very personable to deal with. Effortless and stress-free car shopping I recently purchased a 2019 CRV-EXL from Honda West. I generally knew what I wanted going into the dealership, but the process of making that idea a r I recently purchased a 2019 CRV-EXL from Honda West. I generally knew what I wanted going into the dealership, but the process of making that idea a reality was much easier than expected. The sales associate, Jim Sarantis, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the CRVs and was able to help me choose the perfect trim-type and colour that I wanted at a fair and reasonable price. Financing and delivery of my new vehicle, as well as the trade-in of my old Honda Civic, were also efficient, organized, and stress-free processes. Honda West runs like a well-oiled machine and as long as they keep my new car running as smoothly as they do, I will continue to recommend them and do business with them in the future. More
