The Service Department is always busy and hard to book times. When you call the Service Department, the service agent never answers the phone, you need to leave a message. The Service Department has also recommended work (shocks, struts, power steering rack) that when I checked with another mecahnic they thought was completely unnecessary. Darrin Hurst (Sales Rep) did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone interested in buying a new vehicle. The only issue I had dealing with Honda West was the fact that my insurance pink card was not available when I arrived to pick up the car. I asked my insurance company to fax a copy to the dealership, but that did not happen. Marian Morris or Terry Dabreo (both are Financial Service Managers) should have followed up with either me or my insurance company to insure that my insurance documents were in the file. I had to call my insurance company when I arrived to pick up my car and then I had to wait for quite a while until I could connect with someone at the insurance company who then faxed the temporary insurance documents to Honda West. One other little issue; the credit card machine at Honda West did not work on the first attempt and the message came back that my credit card was declined. This was embarrassing. Terry Dabreo gave me a strange look as if I was a dead beat using a bad credit card. He didn't say anything. He didn't have to. It seemed clear as to what he was thinking. I asked him to try the card again, as I know that I had recently made a large payment on that credit card and the card should not have been declined. On the second attempt using the credit card machine, the transaction went through properly and was accepted. More
I had a great overall experience with this dealer. We traded in our 1998 Accord for a 2010 and they were great from start to finish. When it came time to work the numbers they were a couple hundred dollars higher on our trade than we expected and they were MORE than fair on the new one. After the deal was finalized they transferred our plates over from our old car onto the new one and made every effort to get us on the road as quickly as possible. Charles was easy to deal with and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Would deal there again in a heartbeat! This dealership is over 200km from our house (there are 4 others that are closer to us) - that in itself should speak volumes about our experience. More
