Where do I begin - First off, do NOT buy here, period! No, not so great when the sales person told us that we had to give Weston Ford an EXTRA 15K ($15,000!!) OVER the price of the vehicle that THEY hang onto for 6 months to ensure we do not sell the vehicle to the States. It gets better...Weston Ford will return what they call our "security deposit" in 6 months, but with NO interest! Is this legal? We called OMVIC to find out and the first rep said no but the second checked with the higher ups and said it's most likely legal/fine. So OMVIC is yet another useless governing body set up to look the part - this is NOT a "security deposit" (cash given to hold an item before the transaction) but rather a good old fashion shakedown. So we called Ford of Canada. Although it did not "sit right" with Ford of Canada they said EXACTLY what we thought they would, "each dealer has their own policies, all we can do is put in a complaint" (NOTE: a family member bought one last week and simply signed an agreement not to sell). So to all people who care about the companies that they deal with (as far as moral standards and ethics go) choose wisely as there are a few dealers out there who actually care about their customer (and don't just say it on their website). Oh, and by the way NO WHERE in ANY advertisement of Weston Ford for any of their Broncos does it mention this "policy"! One more thought - Ford dealers are allowed to buy your vehicle and sell it abroad at the drop of hat, another double standard. Incidentally, we are multi repeat customer of Ford Canada and in fact just bought an F250 Tremor Diesel 3 weeks ago from an amazing dealer, unfortunately they do not have any Broncos! More
