Like dealing with sales rep. Except he didn’t always respond to my messages in a timely manner. He also promised me he would put gas in the car I purchased, but he did not. In detail: Purchased used 2020 Honda Pilot on March, 2024 with the deposit and the vehicle is yet to be delivered due to open safety recall (Fuel Pump May Seize). The purchase transactions was facilitated by Greg Higgins (Sales Person) and Bryan Howes (Sales Manager). As a buyer of the purchased vehicle, I have regularly inquired about the estimated delivery date of the vehicle with Greg and he has provided that they don't know the estimated arrival date of the part for the safety recall. In each conversation, he always suggested to purchase other model of the vehicle from the dealership despite mentioning of the preference and budget. In order to discuss the car status in person, I have requested an appointment with Greg or his manager Bryan. On the day of the appointment, I inquired about the estimated time of arrival of the parts and asked to provide in writing that there is no estimated arrival date which they have informed me. This agitated Greg and Bryan and they forcibly asked me to get the deposit back and cancelled the sell. I denied it to cancel the sell and to get my deposit back right away and asked to provide few days to think about it. However, Greg and Bryan said that they don't want to sell the car to me. They are canceling the sell and asked me to move out from the dealership in front of all the customers. They said that they have right to do business with the people who they think appropriate and they have right to cancel the sell. They said that they will send deposit in the mail by cheque. I was humiliated in front of everyone with no reason and they canceled the sale of the car for their own benefits. My family got very disappointed knowing about this since they were very excited about the car and its delivery. This also has impacted my and my wife's credit score because they did financial application and they canceled the sell even though the financial application was approved. I am writing it here so that the some other customer doesn't have to go through same kinds of emotional, physical (time) and financial inconvenience and impact. More
