I think the customer service at VW des Sources is NOT good. Just last week (June 2011) I had a bad experience with this dealership. I brought my car (Golf TDI 2010) with CEL (check engine light) on to good. Just last week (June 2011) I had a bad experience with this dealership. I brought my car (Golf TDI 2010) with CEL (check engine light) on to them, and at noon a service representative called me: "Car is ready, everything has been taking care of, the O2 sensor was replaced (I told them during our meeting that according to the error code P0136, the problem was related to emissions/oxygen sensors). The same evening the CEL came back. I double checked the code: still P0136 (by the way, in the tech`s report there was nothing about replacing any sensors, just "the car`s computer program got upgraded on-line"). I called in a day 2 times trying to get another appointment to have my car fixed, left a message to the same service rep, and they did NOT even bother to call me back. Finally I took an appointment with VW Centre-Ville. Meanwhile I love my Golf TDI and I hope to write a good reference about VW Centre-Ville. More
This dealer’s staff has no idea what they’re doing. I had my car towed there for a known defect DMF failure. They replaced the clutch, pressure plate and fly wheel on warrantee but did not diagnose the had my car towed there for a known defect DMF failure. They replaced the clutch, pressure plate and fly wheel on warrantee but did not diagnose the problem with the damaged syncros on my manual transmission. The worst part is they striped my shifter linkage and left it that way so the more I drove the worst it got (gear grinding) further more when I received the car back the car pulled to the left. They said the work done would not affect the wheel alignment! So I had a wheel alignment done at a reputable place to find out the toe in toe out was five times out of tolerance! From there I took my car to another VW and found out about there shotty work. In the end it took over 3 months to get my car back in order with five visits to the dealer! and two tows at my own expense. I had no compensation from VW Canada or apology for not having my car and for all the trouble. This dealer’s staffs are liars, dishonest and inexperienced. I don’t recommend this place for any type of service. Proceed at your own risk. More
