The best customer service ever!!!!!! We were welcomed with big smiles as we walked through the door....We were introduced to our sales rep who we had spoken to on the phone. Alden took us for a drive and gave us a detailed explanation of the features and advantages of the car we were looking at..... He was very friendly and had a great sense of humor.... we didn't feel pressured into buying the car.... The paper work was very clear and precise ..... Selling the car wasn't their main priority, satisfying the customer was.... Our experience from start to finish was EXCELLENT!!!!!!! keep up the good work.....You not only sold us a great car that will save us a lot but you have made us lifelong customers. More
No nonsense approach with great customer service. A+ I don't think our experience was unique in any way when we started looking for a newer vehicle. I will admit though that I was on guard about the process and very much more informed than I had been on previous purchases. I wanted to put our goals out on the table to be as honest as I could. Our current vehicle had no warranty left, needed repairs and didn't fulfill our family needs any longer. That on top of a balloon payment coming due which was 3 times the value of the vehicle. I was contacted via chat by Victoria Hyundai while I was browsing their inventory. My objectives were: Refinance to remove ugly balloon payment and to substantially lower the interest rate. Trade in our 2007 vehicle Get into something newer with warranty Keep our monthly payments close to what they were. Within hours I was contacted by Wes L. I spent a few moments with him on the phone to reiterate my goals for this purchase. He was friendly, professional and always provided me up front answers to the questions I asked. A few days later we were in the show room looking at several different vehicles that would fit our budget. We test drove one and we liked it a lot. Wes showed us a loaded 2012 Veracruz. The KMs were a bit high for the year but it had a lot of extras. After all that was said and done the payments didn't work with our budget so we had to decline. Wes then brought out a different 2012 Veracruz with a lower trim level. To be honest we liked the colour better, the lower mileage and the overall condition of the vehicle better. It was also right on target with our budget. The only issue that Wes had with us taking the car right then and there was that he didn't have time to have his team detail the vehicle. :) The car was in good shape but that didn't stop Wes from providing us a voucher for free detailing the next time we needed the car washed. We went for it and purchased the vehicle. They worked with us and the lender to get us into a car that met our needs and the terms of the financing were even better than we had hoped for. My Wife and I love the vehicle as do the rest of our soccer team for a family :). Thank you to Marlo at the front desk, Bruce and Jeremy in sales/finance, Rick in the parts department and finally Wes. My faith has truly been restored with all your honesty and diligence. To start with, it's an interesting surprise to NOT walk through an acre of cars to get to the show-room. In fact you don't get to kick many tires before you walk into the bright, well appointed showroom. You look at sample cars, then go through a process of selecting based on the samples then move to the computer to get to specifics. Hyundai has gone all out to deliver a big load of features for unexpected prices, at the same time offering cars that are beautifully designed non the interior. Our experience with the sales rep was very good. He was good humored, didn't right to push us to buy before we were ready. No white shoes in this place! We had to locate our choice from a mainland destination for delivery here, which was quickly arranged. Finally the price negotiation phase is not a horsetrade situation, where the salesman says, "I'll have to talk to my manager," etc. It's credible and clear. I recommend this dealership. More

I was at a point where I refused to suggest anybody My previous experience at Victoria Hyundai was not the best experience with purchasing a vehicle. I was at a point where I refused to suggest anybody to the dealership, but this past experience has me a very happy customer. Everything was done in a professional, timely manner. I was kept informed as to where we were at with the deal. There was a slight communication mishap, however, everything was resolved, & Victoria Hyundai is gradually earning me as a customer for life! Andrew met us and took us for a test drive in one they had on their lot. I loved the vehicle right away but had another appointment to look at a second one in Duncan that afternoon. Andrew didn't push us to buy the jeep, he understood our need to look around a bit. I felt that he knew if it was the right vehicle for me, we'd be back. After a poor experience at the other dealership, we came back and bought my dream jeep! Andrew knew that I didn't want to do the 'back and forth' and wanted their best price up front. He brought in Indy and showed that he respected our time and presented his offer. It was as simple as that and we are very happy with our new jeep! The gong was a sweet touch as well. Thank you Indy for the great hotel rates at the Inn at Laurel Point, what a fabulous weekend we had! Thank you, Andrew, for the type of sales person you are. Your commitment to be different really was appreciated and brought us back to make the purchase. More

With our fuel tank registerin Our 07 Sante Fe (purchased at Victoria Hyundai) had the fuel level sensor replaced under warranty less than 4 years ago. With our fuel tank registering empty despite being filled (aka sensor failure) clearly Hyundai Canada have a quality control issue with these sensors. In discussion with Rodney Schultz, Service Manager, we got the repair completely quickly and ensured that Hyundai Canada were notified of this recurring problem. Rodney demonstrated excellent customer service, including his understanding and responsiveness by email and telephone. Without his help we would have been disatisfied with this product quality issue and our Hyundai experience. Kudos to Victoria Hyundai for encouraging customers to complete DealerRater.ca, and for taking all steps necessary to make sure we left as happy customers. More
