Was to be just an oil change but I found out different. I was happy before but not happy with Monday. I was told we are over booked and will try and get you out in a short time. Then on Tuesday I found an email trying to cancel my appointment as you were over booked. Not my problem it is yours. If you wanted to cancel why not phone. Besides I come from Duncan so why not cancel someone in Victoria. Then I was told I needed 1 year check up. I told the girl at the desk I have only had the car 6 months. Then I had to pay for tire rotation etc. car was not washed or vacuumed. I felt everything was a rush me in and get me out. if it happens again I can go else where. and no excuse for being over booked. Deal with it. It happens at my work and we deal with it. My appointment was at 1:45 and I told the girl at the desk I wanted out by 3 so I didn't have to deal with the collwood crawl. I just was not happy with this experience. By the way while I was waiting if you were so booked why were there some of the guys standing around chatting. HMMM and not the desk guys. Yes I was bitchy but frustrated as well. I felt like the run around and lets get as much money from her as possible More
Easy to deal with, straightforward, no BS. I dealt with Andrew Hubbard, their online guy, as first contact. He was helpful, thorough and I think was trying to actually find out what we needed, not just sell us something we didn't need, or ultimately wouldn't want. The process was uncrushed, uncomplicated, and the product we bought was appropriate to our needs. The rest of the personnel were just as helpful and so the purchase was unproblematic. We live out of town, and a ferry ride away, so timing, preparation, availability etc. were important. They couldn't have been more accommodating. They took an older car in trade: the price was OK (not wonderful) for that but the purchase vehicle was very well priced, so it worked out to be just fine in the end. I highly recommend both the dealership, and Andrew and Bruce (Finance) in particular. More

Good Experience I find that taking my car in for service can be very time consuming. Thursday when I took my car in I found that I was looked after in a timely fashio I find that taking my car in for service can be very time consuming. Thursday when I took my car in I found that I was looked after in a timely fashion. My questions were answered and my car was taken in and had the service work was done in a very fast, not a lot of wait time. I was very pleased with this and look forward to my next visit as I know I will be looked after the same way. More
Genuine, Friendly and Helpful without the Pressure After being left without a vehicle early this year due to a total loss through ICBC, I came to Victoria Hyundai (among other dealerships) to look for After being left without a vehicle early this year due to a total loss through ICBC, I came to Victoria Hyundai (among other dealerships) to look for a new subcompact car. I had previously owned an Accent and had a good experience, although I came onto the lot for the first time more out of curiosity, not really expecting to buy another Accent. I met with Andrew and he quickly got into asking me some basic questions around what I was looking for. Other dealerships had tried to push me into buying a new vehicle, but I was pleased when Andrew suggested we take a look at a used 2014 Accent they had on the lot (I was more in the market for a used vehicle). It turned out this Accent only had 6,000kms on it, with a lot more features than other new vehicles I had looked at. Andrew gave me a quick tour of the car and we took it for a test drive. He maintained a fun and friendly attitude throughout this process. When asked questions about the car, he gave knowledgeable answers and came off as very genuine and honest, being as non-biased as a car salesman can be. Upon returning to the dealership, I was very impressed with the car, but not ready to make a decision to buy at that moment. I had fully expected Andrew to pull me into his office and pressure me to buy right then (as salesman at other dealerships had done). This was not the case at all, he simply handed me his card, encouraged me to look at other vehicles and come back if I was still interested. It really seemed like Andrew wanted me to make the best decision for myself, and not just give him a sale. I slept on it and by the next day I pretty much decided I wanted to buy the Accent. I returned to see Andrew at my next opportunity, even at my return visit Andrew did not pressure me into a sale. After asking a couple more questions, I made an offer on the car, we had a friendly negotiation and agreed on a very fair price. After the sale was made, I dealt with Bruce to setup financing. Bruce, similar to Andrew, was very genuine and transparent. He's also a funny guy, we had a couple good laughs while signing the papers. I was surprised at how affordable the extended warranty was and ended up adding it, after intending to pass on it going in. I had to have some special modifications done to the vehicle before driving it, due to a physical disability. Bruce kindly arranged to have the car delivered to another shop for me to have that done. Overall, I'd like to thank Andrew, Bruce and all the other staff at Victoria Hyundai for making my experience as easy and stress free as possible. More
