I had previously owned an Accent and had a good experience, although I came onto the lot for the first time more out of curiosity, not really expecting to buy another Accent. I met with Andrew and he quickly got into asking me some basic questions around what I was looking for. Other dealerships had tried to push me into buying a new vehicle, but I was pleased when Andrew suggested we take a look at a used 2014 Accent they had on the lot (I was more in the market for a used vehicle). It turned out this Accent only had 6,000kms on it, with a lot more features than other new vehicles I had looked at. Andrew gave me a quick tour of the car and we took it for a test drive. He maintained a fun and friendly attitude throughout this process. When asked questions about the car, he gave knowledgeable answers and came off as very genuine and honest, being as non-biased as a car salesman can be. Upon returning to the dealership, I was very impressed with the car, but not ready to make a decision to buy at that moment. I had fully expected Andrew to pull me into his office and pressure me to buy right then (as salesman at other dealerships had done). This was not the case at all, he simply handed me his card, encouraged me to look at other vehicles and come back if I was still interested. It really seemed like Andrew wanted me to make the best decision for myself, and not just give him a sale. I slept on it and by the next day I pretty much decided I wanted to buy the Accent. I returned to see Andrew at my next opportunity, even at my return visit Andrew did not pressure me into a sale. After asking a couple more questions, I made an offer on the car, we had a friendly negotiation and agreed on a very fair price. After the sale was made, I dealt with Bruce to setup financing. Bruce, similar to Andrew, was very genuine and transparent. He's also a funny guy, we had a couple good laughs while signing the papers. I was surprised at how affordable the extended warranty was and ended up adding it, after intending to pass on it going in. I had to have some special modifications done to the vehicle before driving it, due to a physical disability. Bruce kindly arranged to have the car delivered to another shop for me to have that done. Overall, I'd like to thank Andrew, Bruce and all the other staff at Victoria Hyundai for making my experience as easy and stress free as possible. More

Sales OK. Service dep't uses fear tactics. Bought a new Tucson in 2009, when they had a sale. No complaints about the original sales process or the vehicle. A few years after purchase I started getting phone calls and letters hounding me to trade in and upgrade. I asked them to stop - they didn't - but eventually they gave up. I wasn't impressed with their high-pressure sales tactics. I've owned various new cars and generally follow the recommended service schedule. The vehicle gets light duty around town. After the first few service visits, the Victoria service department started giving me long print-outs of things wrong with my car. They recommended all sorts of preventive maintenance items that other manufacturers/dealers hadn't with previous cars I owned. I continued with basic annual maintenance, but each time the service staff became increasingly threatening. I'm a professional engineer so know a bit about the mechanics of cars, and I did some research on the new maintenance items they recommended. They're not a total fraud, just not strictly necessary. Some were quite expensive. One tip off on this racket is that their fancy print outs recommended different procedures each time, always in alarmist tones. And the service reps are persistent but inconsistent, trying to sell different maintenance items each time. I don't trust them. By way of comparison, I recently took our other car, a 2010 BMW to the local BMW dealer for annual maintenance. When they phoned me with the health/safety check I expected the same threatening upsell tactics that Hyundai uses but was pleasantly surprised to hear "your car is fine, come pick it up". Ditto for when we owned Subaru and Honda cars. So I'm done with Hyundai. I'll sell the Tucson (which has never broken down or exploded in spite of this dealers threats) and I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from the Victoria dealership. Shame on you. More

2016 Santa Fe Sport - perfect vehcile I had been corresponding with Brianna by email but hadn't set a time to come in and check out vehicles. I stopped by on a VERY busy Saturday and although she was currently with another Customer Gordo got the ball started for her and took me out for a drive. Brianna was kind & courteous enough to come over and introduce herself and helped me once I returned from the ride. I felt looked after at all times and although I hadn't planned on purchasing that day I left with a brand new Luxury edition 2016 Santa Fe. I didn't have time to complete the paperwork due to another obligation but Bruce was very accommodating in the finance department to get as much started as possible so when I returned everything was ready to go. Jared helped with the finalization of all the paperwork upon my return and I felt like I truly understood everything that was explained to me and it was a lot of info! Indy was involved in the negotiation on the vehicle and extremely fair with pricing and options without the hassle of back & forth and back & forth. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle as I didn't feel pushed or pressured at anytime during my experience there! More
