They were very accomodating even though we made a couple of changes to our meetings. In the end, my son and I met with Yuki a day before the original appointment made by my wife. Yuki was very friendly and professional with us while going over the vehicle history, inspection of the truck and going out on a test drive. She made our purchase very enjoyable and stress free. It was our first new car and we had gone to Hyundai after a poor experience at another dealership in Victoria. Andrew Hubbard was our salesman and made us feel immediately comfortable. He was honest, funny, friendly and sincere. He worked very hard at ensuring that the car we went with was well-suited to us. He didn't upsell, but instead, offered us a range of options and helped us determine which best suited our needs. After deciding on the Accent, Jody Dick helped us navigate options for purchasing. We spend a number of evenings after work at the dealership getting paperwork sorted out and Jody made the process not just bearable, but enjoyable. We've had consistently excellent customer service at the dealership. When we bring the car in for scheduled maintenance, our work schedules are always accommodated and the customer service staff and mechanics are fantastic! Pleasantly Surprised, Still Happy My husband and I were in the market for a new car or at least a newer car than what we had. We previously drove a BMW and were sick of unreliability, My husband and I were in the market for a new car or at least a newer car than what we had. We previously drove a BMW and were sick of unreliability, high repair costs, and the unpleasant surprises that seemed to greet each leg of our ownership journey. My brother in law suggested we look at the Hyundai Genesis. We were skeptical, but went to the Victoria Hyundai dealership for a test drive. We liked the car a lot more than we thought we would, but we told our knowledgeable and thorough salesperson, Brianna, that it didn't seem to quite have the amount of power we were hoping for and that as much as we liked the new model, we thought that a used car was more in our budget. Brianna's father, Jody, works at the dealership and drives a Hyundai Genesis 5.0 Rspec and he took us all out for a drive in it. It sounded better to us, but we were unsure without being able to drive one (the dealership had none). Brianna arranged for us to take her father's car out for a test drive next week and we were hooked. She then scoured the province for a used Rspec for us and found a gorgeous 2012 in mint condition. Settling on a price that we could all live with went well, everyone at the dealership was friendly and not shark-like, and we had our new car within a week or so. The whole process was so painless and pleasant (unlike other experiences we've had looking for a car) that we still feel surprised. After purchasing the car (insurance conveniently dealt with there and they took a cheque for the car!) we have enjoyed our new to us car immensely. The only slight issue was one of the two car keys that intermittently didn't work well. Jody had given me his card and I emailed him to ask if he'd ever had the problem with his car and he had when the battery was low. He told us to drop by anytime to get it fixed. The dealership replaced the battery at no charge, but even if we had had to pay it was only $9 which after dealing with BMW parts for years seems shockingly cheap. Both Brianna and Jody listened to what we wanted in a car and the price range we were willing to pay and they found us exactly what we hoping for. We couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone at the dealership for their help and for making the car buying process fun again. More
