Recent recall appointment I took my Elantra in for a recall check this past week and I was very impressed with the service. Corey was the person who wrote up my order. He thoroughly explained everything and gave an estimate of the price for bulbs that needed replacing. Because of my temporary limited mobility, he made sure I was connected with the Shuttle service so I got a ride back home. The Shuttle then picked me up when my car was ready. (The shuttle service is wonderful and the driver provides some good laughs!) The price was a little less than what Corey estimated so that was a plus too. I was very happy with the service. The vehicle I was planning to view, sold before our scheduled appointment and Shawn advised me asap, with the option to cancel or reschedule. With the assistance of an independent professional, I was able to ascertain that the offer from Hyundai on the pre-owned vehicle I ultimately viewed, was 'right on', which gave me considerable confidence in proceeding with the purchase. Both Shawn and the Sales Manager, Jody Dick, showed me unexpected, generosity with my 'old' vehicle and I will continue to share this gesture of goodwill as my recommendation for Victoria Hyundai! Poor communication and lengthy delays due to misdiagnose Our 2012 Hyundai began having problems in April. When driving one day it started to completely cut out, as though fuel wasn't getting through the line. We' took it to the Hyundai service centre on Gorge. During the first visit, we were advised that no problem could be found and might be the "sensor" and a computer issue, although they could see an error reading in the history. One month later, same issue however this time undriveable. Phoning Hyundai resulted in over 10 minute waits on the phone tree. Numerous transfers from Marlow to Ashleigh to Sierra to Corey. Initially being told that a loaner vehicle could most likely be provided, to speaking with a general manager who advised he did not have the authority to issue a loaner. Car was brought in on a Tuesday via tow truck (all at our cost). A faulty fuel pump which the warranty covered, however a six day car rental was required putting us out a few hundred dollars. Disappointed with the service, it was only when I called in on the Monday morning to find out the status (after calls on the Wednesday and Friday the previous week) that I was told the 'car is now ready'. We were advised that a number of staff had called in sick to work on Tuesday/Wednesday June 1st but I am reluctant to purchase another Hyundai after my first experience dealing with this service shop. More

I visited a Honda dealership where they showed me a basic, no-frills used Hyundai. Wishing to explore my options I went to the Hyundai dealership where I was greeted by Karl Lehman. He seemed knowledgeable and I appreciate the way he was able to lay out the facts of the vehicles without trying to rely on hype. The staff seems to be aware of how reputation is more important than ever in the internet age and are therefore keen to leave a good impression on you. After discussing my needs with Karl Lehman he was able to show me a similar model that had even less milage on it and far more extras than the car I was shown at the Honda dealership. They were able to work with my budgetary needs and I was able to bargain the price of a car with AC, power windows, automatic transmission, and many other features down to around the sticker price of the other car that was basically just a frame, standard transmission, wheels, and an engine. I was a bit irked that when I called their service department to have my rust protection applied, I had to call three times (no voicemail) before someone picked up. However, that was just an annoyance compared to the rest of their service and the car I was able to drive away with. I would recommend going to see what Victoria Hyundai has to offer. More
