Overall I'd recommended speaking with Sara if you're looking for a car. My overall purchase experience was great, however the financial group here was not the best. The financing person was very quick to take my money and have me signing all the papers without explanasion of what I was signing. I had to ask multiple times to get an explansion of all of the charges, rates, withdrawl dates, etc. She was also extremely pushy and aggressive with trying to sell extended warranties and service packages. When I declined her offers she would ask me why I was declining then would argue with my logic saying it didn't make sense... This was pretty annoying considering I was in the process of spending quite a bit of cash with them. Other than that, I would recommend Clarkdale for purchase of new or used vehicles and would specifically tell anyone to ask for Sara. Just go in with the idea of keeping your financing/sign-over meeting short and sweet. More

Customer Service - Totally appreciated not being rushed or pressured into buying something I may not have been 100% happy with. After spending 10 days going from dealership to dealership I was sold on the golf TDI wagon after speaking with lucas. He was incredibly genuine and kind to deal with. I have 2 children + a dog which he was compassionate to all + to my circumstance of car shopping with all 3. Let me tell you car shopping on my own is stressful enough, addd 2 kids and a dog and it is a nihtmare. Lucas was very different than ANY of the 18 other car salesman I had delt with. He was so good to my kids + dog and he spoke to me as though I were a person, a friend, with respect. In my journey I had been asked by other salesmen "where is your husband", been told "well your not going to buy without your husband", and I was near locked in a room being forced to sign papers to buy. Needless to say immediatley after I left Clarkdale after dealing with Lucas I called my husband and said "I found our salesman and I found our car" We didn't go to another lot after that. I was horrified at the car shopping experience in 2011 as a woman, I was treated so 2nd class and my kids were treated as pains and a nuesance. I thank lucas for the experience he gave me + my family. This was my very first brand new car I have purchased and I would absolutley buy from Lucas again + would highly reccomend him + Clarkdale to my friends and family. We love our car + we loved our experience. The highest compliment I could give a salesman is inviting him over for a beer + if Lucas ever wanted to come out to Burnaby I would invite him into my home with open arms. More

Made an appointment and they were too busy to do it that day and I was encouraged to make another appointment and come back. I tried to get a hold of them to make an appointment and never heard back. I also asked for an owner's manual and the sales manager assured me i would get one as he ushered me out the door. (without one). While I was buying the car, very nice and attentive staff. Afterwards, not so much. Not unexpected from a car dealership, just a bit disappointed. That being said, my experience was still a good one, I love the car I bought, I'm happy with process and my trade in value was very fair. I would reccomend this dealership to anyone. The last VW dealership I dealt with the purchase my 1st VW I never recommended, service was terrible. This one was far superior. More

Our experience with the staff at Clarkdale was excellent. We visited a number of times to test different carseats in their vehicles and the staff welcomed us each time and assisted wherever possible. Eventually we found a seat that would work with the Golf wagon and decided on that vehicle (car seat manufacturers... yes your seats must face backward, but how difficult can it be to design them to work with existing vehicle platforms?). The staff was always friendly and greeted us by name during each visit. We received follow-up calls to ensure that things were as we hoped at each step along the process and were satisfied with the trade-in value received. In short, our purchase was fast, friendly and as painless as a new car purchase is likely to be. More
