In reviewing the documents and finalizing all the paperwork, Cyndy was very professional and knowledgeable, and she made great effort to answer all my questions concerning the car's history and service records, the warranty, and financing. In particular, I appreciated that she followed up on the concerns that I had expressed. One of my concerns was the damage to the windshield, which the sales consultant assured me would be repaired prior to delivery, yet when I arrived, I saw that no repair had been made. I spoke with the manager, Trevor, and he was very quick to assure me that a new windshield would be installed. I appreciate very much his courtesy, professionalism, and integrity to quality customer service. I am also perturbed by a piece of misinformation. When looking at various models of vehicles, I was told by the sales consultant that the car I was interested in had only 12,000 km, a strong selling feature. However, at delivery, I learned that it was more than 14,000. I do not know if this was simply an error, but this discrepancy troubled me. In purchasing this car, I visited Clarkdale three times, and each time I was met with the same hostess. On my second visit for a pre-arranged meeting with the sales consultant, the hostess informed me that he was not on duty, that it was his day off, clearly not true. On the day I arrived to pick up my car, again at a pre-arranged time, she escorted me to the lounge and then neglected to inform the relevant staff that I was there. In fact, I waited 30 minutes in the lounge, completely forgotten. A chance conversation with a sales consultant taking his break finally connected me with the staff person I was to meet with, half an hour late. This type of miscommunication and negligence is not good service and definitely needs improvement. I would recommend Clarkdale, and of course VW, to friends and family, but I would caution them about the level of service from the front line staff. More
First time buying experience with Clarkdale Volkswagen After many years of driving solid second hand cars, we finally bought a new car again. Researching Consumer Reports we discovered the 2014 Golf Wagon. My husband stopped by Clarkdale and met a familiar face in Sunil Sharma who suggested a test drive right to our home and away we went. It must have been our most easy car purchase ever. Sunil Sharma was terrific in supporting us and giving us all the information and space we needed to make our decision. Christina Duncan finalized our purchase and explained in detail a number of premium policies we could take advantage of to extend our warranty coverage. Carly Broetz was great at explaining the car to us with all the new features we'd not yet encountered in our previous cars. All 3 were instrumental in making our experience easy, refreshing, and friendly along with a couple of other people we briefly met. They are warm, enthusiastic people, generous with their energy and time. We look forward to our ongoing connection with Clarkdale Volkswagen. More

Rob M- he knows just what I needed in the "right" car I am a repeat VW customer. My trusty 1995 Jetta (purchased new from Cowell) was destined for ICBC salvage after an accident and I needed a replacement I am a repeat VW customer. My trusty 1995 Jetta (purchased new from Cowell) was destined for ICBC salvage after an accident and I needed a replacement vehicle sooner rather than later. The minute I walked through the door at Clarkdale, Rob Michalowski was there to greet me and help me over the course of the following week, to find that replacement car. Purchasing a used vehicle is seldom a stress-free experience for anyone, and Rob was very helpful in finding the right car for my budget. Before I knew it, I found myself in a near-new Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Jetta loaded with sporty features including 2.5L engine and the ever-so-rare manual transmission. Rob, in his easy going manner, somehow knew what I wanted and delivered great service at every point throughout the purchasing process. One caveat I have relates to the 112-point CPO qualification inspection that left a few remaining glitches in the car upon final delivery. The delivered car had a broken vanity mirror, burnt out tail light, and under-inflated spare tire. Despite these quibbles, I'm told the service department is quite awesome and they'll make good on these minor hiccups. I will reserve further comment pending resolution with the service department. More on this later. ***Update (Aug 16/2014)-- I couldn't wait for the service appointment to fix the tail light so I replaced the tail light-bulb myself after a quick visit to Canadian Tire for the bulb. Interesting enough, I found a Clarkedale video ad on Youtube (posted two months prior) for the the same car I purchased. In the video, all the car's exterior lights were on, except for the tail light I mentioned. So I'm now pretty sure the tail light issue was there all along. The service department did fix the broken visor mirror with no hassles. Service staff was generally friendly and attentive. More

I felt like I could trust Mike Hahn and his colleagues and I felt as though they were trying to get me the best price. They got me in a car I love at a very affordable rate and they even saved me more money because I was an SFU student. All in all I have an amazing experience and would recommend both Clarkdale Volkswagen and Mike Hahn to anyone who is looking for a car! More

From Adam in leasing who 'sold' me my new 2015 Golf 7 TSi, to Christina in the office who 'made it happen' to Carly in after-service care who 'made it all make sense', the Clarkdale experience was seamless, painless, and very enjoyable. My last VW, a 2011 Jetta TDi was only serviced at Clarkdale, and my new Golf will have the same treatment. Madilyn in service is terrific. From start to finish you cannot find a better dealership than Clarkdale, and for my money a better car than a VW. Thank you to everybody. You know you'll be seeing me again! More

I was searching for a pre owned vehicle, and some would say I was a bit picky in what I was searching for as I was quite specific in what I wanted and wasn't going to compromise. Rob from the get go completely understood, and didn't try to pressure me into a vehicle that didn't fit the criteria. His correspondence was excellent, always answering promptly, and kept on following up with vehicles coming in that were possible options for me. Was a refreshing change from other salesmen I had dealt with, and I wouldn't hesitate to refer him for anyone searching for a vehicle. More
