Reliable, competent, honest and friendly as well As a New England resident on vacation, I braced for the worst after realizing that my '15 Impala would need an oil change before we left the islan As a New England resident on vacation, I braced for the worst after realizing that my '15 Impala would need an oil change before we left the island. Car service or repairs is NOT how you want to spend vacation time, and those out-of-state (or in this case, out-of-country) plates invite the slowest service - or perhaps semi-honest upsells and add-on offers. As a vacationer, you're not likely to be back (so no $$ incentive to please you), you have no existing relationship with the staff, and you have no way to put off the work ... it's an all-around position of weakness. Wow, did the service department at Township dispel those concerns. They treated me as well as my regular dealer in Connecticut, and vastly better than many local dealers, repair shops and oil-change places have over the past 42 years. These folks did the full safety inspection, got me in and out for the oil change quickly, and were absolutely cheerful and warm throughout. And no upsell whatsoever - no urgent pressure to replace a fuel filter, a pump, a hose or the transmission fluid. I couldn't ask for better and more genuinely honest service. If we're even on PEI or in NB again, this is without a doubt where I'd take any car needing work. More
