I recently had my Ram1500 truck in for scheduled maintenance, and was HORRIFIED by the charges on the invoice received for the work performed. Even with free engine oil and filter changes for life, I still incurred labor charges of $756.25, which I consider excessive beyond measure, especially considering the vehicle was in the service department for a mere 2 hours and 13 minutes. Line items describe services performed, line A noting a 4.7 Hemi..........my truck has a 5.7 hemi Differential and transfer case oils were all changed ( with different oils in each ??? ), and ALL line items " road tested for performance " , yet IN and OUT odometer readings are the same. ??? There are some inaccuracies here which give me pause, and reasons to question the quality of the work performed. In the past, with Nissan and Volkswagen vehicles in this household, dealer services have often included the vehicle receiving a complimentary wash when warranted, something my truck would certainly have benefitted from on my last visit, yet none was even offered. I have no issues with performing required scheduled maintenance, but if these charges and quality of workmanship are indicative of what to expect from Tower Chrysler's service department, I will be happy to return for the free for life oil changes included when I purchased the truck, but seek out another service provider for other maintenance. I was not able to give the time required to taking the matter further when I was at the dealership, and still have been unable to return to take the matter up with the "powers that be". More
