She explained the scope of the work that was required, made sure I had a ride to work, and promised to follow up with me later in the morning to let me know how the service was progressing. As promised I received a call from Raj and she explained the work that had been completed. This is our third Subaru from Subaru Calgary. The sales department sold us our fist vehicle. The service department is the reason we bought the next two. With employees like Raj and the rest of the service team it will make the decision easy when we are ready for our next vehicle. More

Within an hour I called and tried to get a hold of the finance manager to hold off on it because I decided not to go through with it. Although he didn't call back, I emailed him the same day after hours so he could see it first thing in the morning. Had someone come in to get my deposit back but was told that I need to be there myself and it would be no problem. I came back the next day and spoke to my salesman and he understood where I was coming from and had directed me to Ken the sales manager, who wanted to hear my reason for not going through with it. After telling him my reason and that I wasn't going to change my mind, he sat back in his chair and said that I'm flat out not going to get the deposit back today. Also said that they lost money and put in the work to the car for the accessories and protection packages I wanted. I asked him to show me the car for proof, and said sure but later on said the car was at a shop getting the undercoating done. Ken said if anything that he should give me a bill instead of the deposit back and to cut him a cheque for all the work they did. He then said he's not going to do anything today about my deposit until tomorrow when he talks with his manager Derek, and that he was done with this and he's going to go back to work. I walked over to my salesman Loman (who was a great salesman by the way) and he took me to someone else and got my deposit back. Loman would be the only reason why I would ever come back here. But not until this guy isn't working there. More

I went on a Tuesday afternoon and this place wasn't even busy, look around and sat in a few vehicles. Pick up some brochures check out some more vehicles, after 20 minutes no one even bother to say hi or check with me if I needed help. I guess this dealer must be doing very well on sales, I figured they don't need my business. So I left and went to Toyota and got me a Camry instead. I have never experience such poor service at a car dealership in my life. I can't image how the service department would be like if I can't even get any service in sales. More

An oddly great experience I came into the dealership preparing myself for the usual sales pitch, and had done my research before hand to be sure I wasn't going to get the wool I came into the dealership preparing myself for the usual sales pitch, and had done my research before hand to be sure I wasn't going to get the wool pulled over my eyes. It turned out I didn't need to be quite so cautious as the salesman I ended up dealing with, Ivan Tjan, was extremely friendly and open to having a two-way conversation throughout the whole process. At no point in time was I pressured or bullied into making a decision, and I left the dealership feeling very pleased with my purchase. Thank you for making my experience an enjoyable one! More

We have done a to of research and have nailed down the top 3 cars that we were interested in. We walked around the lot to see which colors and models they had available and after 20 min or so outside, we decided to wander in to find someone as no one had come outside to greet us. Granted it's not the warmest day, but you do live in Canada. If your customers can stand outside, so can you. We walked into the dealership and two older gentleman were sitting at their desks and didn't even bother to lift their heads. We walked over to a booth that had some written information about the car we were looking at, and still no one came to speak with us. I looked over and Jaime sat at his desk with 3 other employees, who were chatting and didn't once even look at us or get up off their chairs to come and speak with us. We stood in their showroom for 10-15 min before we finally decided that we would not spend $30,000 on a car from a dealership where their employees couldn't even be bothered to say hi, welcome us, or heaven forbid - get up off their seat. It wasn't until we decided to leave and tossed the pamphlets on an empty desk and had opened the door to leave, that one of the four employees said hello. I asked for a managers business card and he asked if there was something that he could help us with - I said no not now. But you could have during the 20 min we walked around your lot and the 15 min we stood in your showroom. He asked us to wait and then brought Ken Woo (the Sales Manager) over to speak with us, what a joke. Instead of apologizing, he immediately asked us what car we wanted to look at. Typical salesman attitude, to think after the incredibly poor level of service that trying to sell us on something instead of apologizing was a good move. Obviously Mr. Woo and his team don't need to sell any cars, or make a living - they must be doing much better than the rest of Calgary. You'd think especially in this economy, that you would try a little harder to do the very basics of your job. We had previously gone to Centaur Subaru and had already received the same poor service. Only after that I said it was ridiculous for 4 salesman to be sitting at a desk texting or whatever it was that they were doing instead of working did he then sort of apologize. When I tossed his card on the window sill on our way out, he said "don't you want my card" - are you serious? I responded that he was standing right in front of me and if he wasn't able to respond with any kind of customer service while we were there, then it would obviously be worthless to follow up via email. We went around the corner to Barlow Motors and received immediate great service. Even got out to test drive the same Outback we were looking at, at Subaru. More
Great experience Loman was very professional during the whole process of our Subaru purchasing, from test drive to close the deal and pick up our new vehicle. My wife Loman was very professional during the whole process of our Subaru purchasing, from test drive to close the deal and pick up our new vehicle. My wife and I are very impressed by his knowledge and kindness. He is able to address all our concerns and help us deciding the right vehicle to purchase. I would definitely recommend Loman Edwards to anyone who is planning to buy Subaru. More

There is never anyo It was pretty painful to deal with these guys. I was always waiting around for the employees even when we had an agreed upon time. There is never anyone at the front reception and it took a while for an employee to come up and ask me if I needed assistance. After meeting with the dealer I had to wait around to test drive. During the test drive the dealer didn't know the vehicle and I had to essentially pry information out of them to learn about the car (and they had to pull out their phone to find out). My biggest complaint is that I had emailed back and forth about price and we had come to an agreement for a price with all taxes and fees included. I confirmed that I was intending on financing. The dealer either glossed over this or tried to use a bait and switch tactic because when I got their they informed me the price was with a cash incentive thrown in. They came back with a price that was higher and didn't include taxes or fees. Overall it would have been a few thousand dollars more than the agreed upon price and higher than what is listed online. They didn't even produce a price breakdown. Definitely felt like they were trying to swindle me and I don't enjoy having my time wasted. The one positive note was that the dealer was fairly friendly.
