I had a great experience working with Raj throughout the process of purchasing my WRX. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and always easy to communicate with. My car ended up being delayed due to shippin process of purchasing my WRX. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and always easy to communicate with. My car ended up being delayed due to shipping issues that were out of his control, but Raj did his best to keep me updated throughout the entire process and always provided me with whatever information he had. I also really appreciated that he owns a WRX himself. It was nice working with someone who genuinely knows the car and could answer my questions from his own experience. He was always happy to help and made the whole process feel much more personal. Although there were some longer waits with the finance team, even with scheduled appointments, I understand that buying a car is a big purchase and appointments can sometimes take longer than expected. Everyone was friendly and patient with me throughout the process, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience and especially with the service I received from Raj. He made such a big purchase feel a lot less stressful, and I really appreciated his patience, communication, and help throughout the entire process. We were treated exceptional by Jordana in the service department. She went to our vehicle to get all info and then set up the appointment with ease. She then proceeded to book an Uber for our return home department. She went to our vehicle to get all info and then set up the appointment with ease. I brought my vehicle to Subaru City for a pulling concern and left feeling like I had walked into a sales funnel disguised as a service department. I was handed a massive list of expensive “urgent” repairs t and left feeling like I had walked into a sales funnel disguised as a service department. I was handed a massive list of expensive “urgent” repairs totaling thousands of dollars and told my vehicle was unsafe to drive unless the work was done. That kind of fear-based pressure tactic is unacceptable, especially from a dealership customers are supposed to trust for honest advice. The Sales department was no better. After being contacted about trading in my fully paid-off Forester, I clearly explained I was interested in a larger 7-seater Subaru with similar safety features. Once it became obvious there was no quick, easy sale to close, the interest disappeared. No real follow-up, no effort, no customer care. This wasn’t even my first disappointing impression. On previous after-hours service pick-up visits, the sales floor has felt lifeless and disengaged, with staff appearing completely uninterested in the customers already in the building. Subaru City seems far more focused on extracting as much money as possible in Service while putting in minimal effort in Sales. That is a terrible combination. As a current Subaru owner who was actively considering buying another Subaru, this experience did more to push me away from the brand than bring me back. More
