Easy decision We needed a vehicle for our son who is now old enough to drive. We found the extra money needed to buy the car and felt comfortable doing so because Steve put us at ease. We did visit other dealerships but found the sales guy was way too pushy. They seemed more interested in what they wanted to sell instead of what we wanted to buy. Do they get a bonus for selling certain vehicles? It sure felt that way. Our daughter will need a car in 2 years and I will be going back to Steve to buy it. More

Jordan Smith was unbelievable and there was no pressure at all to buy. Set up a date for the next week to probably get a new car. When we arrived that day Jordan told us that before we signed the papers for the new car he just wanted us to look at another car that was 2014 and driven by one of the fellows at the dealership. It was exactly what we wanted and again no pressure at all to buy. Jordan is going to go places with his friendly approach and took time to listen to our concerns. Congratulations Jordan and keep doing what you are doing. Have never met such a great car dealership person. More

Friendly sales staff I had the privilege of buying my car from Steve Hodgson at St. James VW. I had an idea of the kind of vehicle I wanted but wasn't completely sold of I had the privilege of buying my car from Steve Hodgson at St. James VW. I had an idea of the kind of vehicle I wanted but wasn't completely sold of the make and model I ultimately ended up with. I told Steve the other make and models I was considering and instead of bashing my decision he encouraged me to test drive them. He told me the pros and cons of the other cars and even recommended a few I hadn't considered. I visited the other dealers and when I explained to the sales person that I was also considering a VW amongst other makes and they all spoke poorly of my choices instead of telling me why their car was the best choice. I have no interested in dealing with someone who feels they need to degrade the competition and make me feel like an idiot for my preference of vehicles. I know MANY car sales people in Winnipeg and Steve is only 1 of 2 that I would recommend. More
