About a month ago I Everyone knows someone, who knows “that guy”, that guy that can hook them up with what they need, a great deal, and no hassles! About a month ago I was talking with, Michael Miskew, I knew he worked at Sherwood Ford as a car salesman. We talked about cars and I told him what I like and what I am interested in, but I wasn’t in a hurry or motivated to buy anything. A week ago, he messaged me, this wasn’t a sales call, they just got a Mustang on the lot that fit my preferences from what we talked about. He asked if I would like to take the Mustang out for a drive, he knew at that time I was more interested in a Camaro or Charger however thought this may be of interest to me. I saw the pictures he sent to me via text and I thought, “yes”, that’s the color, style and look I really like (he knows me). When I got there, Michael greeted me, showed me the Mustang, and again just to take it for a spin, no sales pitch. My wife and I took turns driving it, and as I said Michael hit it out the park. The car was beautiful and ran as good as it looked. We surprised him when we were done, we told Michael we were interested in the car. We talked some numbers and he provided us with honest information and educated us as to what the vehicle had to offer and what Sherwood Ford could provide. There was no pressure just honest helpful information. I’ve purchased many vehicles in my lifetime from various lots and never had I felt more relaxed and respected, and I can honestly say, this is the first time in 30 years I walked away from this knowing I got a great deal! From the owner of Sherwood Ford, Mike Hicks who took the time to meet and greet and spend time to chat with us, and the Sherwood Ford team handing out cookies, to the finance department getting us a fantastic plan, the respect and curtesy the team at Sherwood Ford treated us felt more than just family!
