Making the Best of a Bad Situation - Avrom Brown Was Awesome I was feeling very fragile after my car accident. I dreaded having to deal with insurance claims and a body shop. Much to my surprise not only did I have a nice insurance agent, but she steered me to Scarborough Toyota and Avrom Brown. He was such a breath of fresh air! His professionalism and ability to clarify and impart how everything about the process was outstanding! His great sense of humour and kind customer service helped change a bad situation into a bearable one. Scarborough Toyota must be very happy to have such a great employee. I would recommend Scarborough Toyota to anyone in a heartbeat! More
Problems Solved By Amazing Service, Amazing Customer Service I was recommended by my insurance provider to use Scarborough Toyota for their services after having my Audi damaged by the windstorm. At first, I was I was recommended by my insurance provider to use Scarborough Toyota for their services after having my Audi damaged by the windstorm. At first, I was hesitated to use Scarborough Toyota since my vehicle is an Audi (Not a Toyota!). Construction debris had damaged my windshield and paint all around. I wanted to make sure that my vehicle was restored properly. After meeting with Avrom, I felt much better about the process. Avrom walked me through the process and showed me their state-of-the-art facility for painting and restoring. They have a line-up of cars being worked on that include high end vehicles (porsches, jaguars, you name it!) so I was convinced they are more than equipped to work on my Audi. After having my windshield replace and vehicle worked on by Scarborough Toyota, I was impressed by the quality of work. In other collision centers, I've noticed over spray and other mistakes but the paint here was done to the T! More so, Avrom listened to my feedback to what I wanted improve further and he had it resolved immediately. Thank you Avrom, I am very impressed by your level of customer service and felt that you care about your customers. More
Stay away from their collision centre. STAY AWAY from their COLLISION CENTRE. We have taken our car few times there, spent thousands of dollars with a big deception; 1- Bad attitude and a STAY AWAY from their COLLISION CENTRE. We have taken our car few times there, spent thousands of dollars with a big deception; 1- Bad attitude and arrogance, 2- Two out of three experiences: Work was not done properly: a- The back of the Car and the trunk was painted with a different color! I have to take time off from my work to take the car again to be repainted; it is shameful as a Toyota dealer to put a different paint/color, and deliver it to the client. As if we didn’t realize the next day, they will not bother at all. In addition, we asked to keep for us a part that was replaced, they never did and they give us a run away!!! We gave the benefice of doubt and we let it go, Total bill was over $2k b- The Car was again taken to Toyota, with some light paint, and some other work; the car was not fixed properly from the first repair, we went back again, agreed on new parts needed to fix it as per their request; what a shame again they deliver the car as it was fixed, the soon as we check it, it was obvious that the work was not done properly. The car looks ugly now, and we were told by Toyota we did our best to fix it. This is unacceptable, shameful, dishonest and unprofessional. They charge a lot of money, they play games with the clients as they never informed us momentarily with the issues, and how they could fix them accordingly, but instead they delivered the car as work is accomplished, to our surprise we discovered the opposite. Why would you tell someone to buy extra part to fix the issue, the part was changed but the issue still there. Total bill about $2300! Facts: Although they are very expensive, we were under the impression that the Toyota Dealer will provide a great quality of work, but unfortunately, it was not the case in multiple occasions. Somehow you will be paying someone else expensive pension, and you will not get what you deserve. My advice, save yourself trouble, look for a garage who has good reputation and honest through your family and friends’ network, and give the job. You will get much better service, greater quality, a better deal with a big smile. This guys, got too much work, don’t care anymore about their clients, and are unfriendly. More

My immediate and extended family also drive Toyotas. I have been purchasing and servicing my Toyota vehicles at Scarborough Toyota since around 2004 and this has consistently been the best experience. Joseph and all the staff I have ever had the pleasure to deal with have been honest, polite, professional and thorough. There was a time over 20 years ago when friends referred me to an independent mechanic. I gave him a try and after 2 parts being replaced and the overheating issue still not fixed, the last part and cheapest part fixed the issue. Well I already wasted over $1000 before the proper and much cheaper fix corrected the issue. Prior to this attempt of trying an independent mechanic, my previous Toyota dealership always corrected issues the first time and needless to say, I never go to independent mechanics after this experience. Scarborough Toyota also corrects any issues the first time with great customer service. Thanks to Joseph Yung, Gord De Castro and the service technicians at Scarborough Toyota, I will remain a loyal customer. More
