Review on Service agent and too few personnel to check on ca I was assigned Jay as my service agent by Joseph at Scarborough Toyota Service centre. This was at 11:20am today. I waited 40 minutes to find out wh I was assigned Jay as my service agent by Joseph at Scarborough Toyota Service centre. This was at 11:20am today. I waited 40 minutes to find out what service would I need. I was told that could take 2hours; there were customers ahead of me. That there were no emoyees available to diagnose on the car. Understood. But I had made an appointment to come in at 11:15. Previously I have been very pleased with the service at Scarborough Toyota but today I was very very disappointed and this is my service stop. Program & service resolution failure/ changing wrong parts Thank you for your outstanding customer resolution. Toyota Scarborough Dealer charged my insurance the first time to provide us an ´´outstanding serv Thank you for your outstanding customer resolution. Toyota Scarborough Dealer charged my insurance the first time to provide us an ´´outstanding service ´´ and a ´´guaranteed work accomplished ´´. After failing to fix the car initially, then they requested additional repairs which they charged us for part and labor, yet the issue remained idem unresolved. Toyota Manager is suggesting now to have the insurance pay for the third time, to replace additional parts that have no defects to my knowledge!!! Every time they asked us to pay, we paid their premium fees but the job is not done! Indeed it is simple to blame it on something or someone else and justify their crews failure rather than assuming their responsibility. Please note that the car’s esthetics issue has been created by their unprofessional team after their first repair!!! How would they justify the failure of an assessor who did three assessments, changed all the parts as requested, yet didn’t resolve the issue. I would feel ashamed, if I change the wrong parts for a client not resolving the matter and charging him, yet asking further to change other parts that had no known issues (pictures available as a proof). Moreover, what could be expected from a Toyota Manager after contacting the client is to follow up directly with the customer to reassess the situation and to provide updates instead of posting an online response justifying the company’s failure in addressing the client’s concerns. With all my respect, this confirms further what I have said previously. I would rather spend my time and money somewhere else with a garage that a person can trust. This will be escalated further, thank you for your time, efforts and have a good day. More
