My wife Becky and I discovered Scarborough Toyota about six years ago while we were out car shopping along the Eglinton strip. We wandered in and out of the various dealerships kicking tires. It was amazing to experience the different levels of customer accommodation. Some of the dealers totally ignored us as if we had to take a number to be served, (we didn't stay long) others were trigger happy for a sale. We have always had a respect for Toyota as a brand, (our friend's Corolla had over 400,000 kms on it and still ran great) and after looking at some of the new models that attachment grew. Derek Browning earns a platinum star because he did a great job in addressing all of our buying or leasing options, and as a result we left with a Toyota Yaris for my wife Becky. We were very happy with the Yaris and soon returned and added a Matrix for myself. I remember the day, Becky and I walked in and told Derek, "We want the black one over there." It was that simple. "Would you like to test drive it first?" Derek asked, "No, it's fine, let's look at options!" Within the hour we were on our way having added a new Matrix to the family. Derek Browning is assuring and makes us feel confidant that our decisions are sound ones. We trust Toyota and we trust Derek, so much in fact that I sent my brother Claude to see Derek last month. He (Claude) was curious about getting a new car next summer, so I advised him to check out the Toyota line. Sure enough, an hour with Derek and Claude left with a brand new Toyota Rav 4. (which is most likely my next ride!) Derek is a guy with confidence you can believe in and trust! These cars will be passed like heirlooms to our kids as our Toyota family grows. In closing, a platinum star also goes out to your financing department! I recently bought out the lease on the Matrix, and I have to say the Toyota finance guy was super in getting me a great rate on my loan! Thank You Toyota, and Thank You Derek Browning! After an exhausting day of visiting several dealerships in Toronto I stumbled upon Scarborough Toyota on my way home. Upon arriving I was greeted by reception and then introduced to Manny. I sat down with him to go over the numbers and picked up the car 2 days later. I have NEVER experienced such amazing customer service in my life. Manny is professional, knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely caring. He followed up with me throughout the whole process and I could not be happier. Nice dealership, always seemed to do work on my old truck that was needed. Time came for a new vehicle so I asked Paul Morton to help me out. He waited until a good fit came around. I am writing about Derek Browning who was not only my salesman but my parents as well. The first vehicle we leased from toyota and from Derek was a 2008 Toyota Sienna. He later told us that we were his f salesman but my parents as well. The first vehicle we leased from toyota and from Derek was a 2008 Toyota Sienna. He later told us that we were his first customers that he had when he first started working for Toyota. This surprised us all as his salesmanship, friendliness, knowledge of the vehicles and ability to find an appropriate budget that would work for us felt like he had been doing this for quite some time. We enjoyed the van and had it for the four year lease and decided to go back to Derek and look at our options when it was up. He reviewed our options and again Derek was able to work out a good deal and my parents signed on for another four year lease. When the time was right I began to review my own options and decided I wanted to get a new vehicle of my own and went to Derek to see what he could do for me. I looked at a few different vehicles and with the help and positive influence of Derek I decided to go with a 2013 Toyota Corolla. I have enjoyed my car a lot and have definitely considered going back to see him when my lease is up. I have been there quite a few times for an oil change and drop in to see him and chat about cars and much more. I think Derek is an exceptional salesman an person and have recommended him to many people who were thinking about buying or leasing a new reliable vehicle. More
