The moment he walked out, Adam gave off the clear impression that he didn’t want to be there—and certainly didn’t want to engage with a customer. No enthusiasm. No hunger. No smile. He carried himself like someone burned out and bitter, not someone representing a high-volume car dealership. He resorted to manipulative pressure tactics like, “I don’t need to sell you this car — I can give it to that guy over there.” That wasn’t confidence — it was arrogance wrapped in disrespect. Another reviewer here said something very similar. Add to that a dismissive attitude and a lowball offer on my trade-in, he acted like he couldn't care less. Turns out on LinkedIn, Adam bounced between three dealerships in just a few years. Prior to this, he was a bartender. It all makes sense now. In contrast, Vjay was a breath of fresh air. Courteous, attentive, and genuinely helpful — the kind of person who gives a dealership a good name. It’s no surprise he’s among the top reps. I'm happy for him! I ended up buying the car only because I wanted it fast. But had I been on the fence or needed more time, I would have bought it at another dealership. To management: You may want to seriously re-evaluate Adam Walt’s role here. He’s not just losing sales — he’s damaging your brand. More

This review is about the service department. I went for a seasonal tire changed on 21/04/2025, and the service especialist Phillip said it will take maximum 30 mins. Tires were on rims so ni I went for a seasonal tire changed on 21/04/2025, and the service especialist Phillip said it will take maximum 30 mins. Tires were on rims so nither did I expect that the work will take more than 30 mins. After two hours waiting, I decided to complain with Phillip, only then he went and checked what happened. After he cameback from the service bay I got my car in less than 15 mins which means the car was seatting some where waiting for the technicians to do their job. Phillip was very kind but only when I reach to him, he decide to follow up and see what happened with the order. This was my first and my last visit to Scarborough Toyota to service my car. Mansour was highly professional from the moment we met through to delivery. It was a pleasure to work with Mansour. However the post delivery experience is something entirely different; on the first dri through to delivery. It was a pleasure to work with Mansour. However the post delivery experience is something entirely different; on the first drive of the car the interiors filled with toxic chemical fumes requiring us to open all of the windows mid drive and then eventually exit the vehicle ( unplanned). The fumes caused my son to vomit. This is a reoccurring issue after a 15min highway drive followed by driving in city traffic. The Service department questioned the gas used - the issue started with the gas provided by the dealership. The Service department said they would note the issue but effectively did nothing and said it’s likely the coating in the exhaust system and it was dissipate over time. If part of purchasing an 88K Toyota is that for the first 750+KM of driving you need to drive with the windows and sun roof open because of the toxic fumes - that should be declared upfront in the brochures and sales materials.
