Hi Clare – thank you for your concerns. The last thing we want is for someone to leave our store without a great customer experience. However, it sometimes happens. We did some investigating into your situation and have recognized a few areas that we could have treated your case differently. You did have your Terrain into SMP in 2015 to have the mirror glued on, which we were able to do for you. Your most recent visit to our store, there was some misunderstanding on the part of our tech regarding the procedure necessary to resolve the issue. To be honest, windshields can be finnicky when it comes to reattaching rear view mirrors – and Canada’s cold weather sure doesn’t help! 😊 We did suggest that the possibility of replacing the windshield may prevent this from happening in the future, and unfortunately that is not covered under GM’s warranty. We understand that we may have not communicated properly to you that the new windshield was an option and not a necessity at that time. In addition, we do apologize that we were unable to glue your rear view mirror back on as we have done successfully in the past. We appreciate you as a customer, which was reiterated by everyone involved as we were investigating, and we would all love the chance to win back your business.
