So far I am very happy in dealing with the Ron Hodgsons' dealership. The staff I have dealt with has been wonderful and probably the best thing is that they all work together(not a competition) wh Hodgsons' dealership. Not long afterwards I was greeted by a salesperson named dean who proceeded to tell me about the truck and before I knew it I was test driving it and promptly fell in love with the vehicle. The next few days flew by in which the whole process of financing the vehicle was done professionally, in a friendly matter and extremely quick. Very good experience. The first thing our salesman, Roy, asked us was "What do you need?", not "How much can you spend?". He was very co-operative in addressing some mechanic repair concerns that I had and was very accomodating when it came to conducting test drives for both my daughters and myself in all the vehicles that we were interested in. He kept a good line of communication in place from the first visit we made to the dealership and struck me as very honest individual. Ludwig was great, I gave him a list of things I wanted in a used truck and when i showed up to the dealership he had three options for me to look at. Ludwig was able to get new tires and a DVD player installed that my kids love and will make our road trips more enjoyable for the whole family. We had stopped by the Ron Hodgson used vehicle lot but there was nothing there! lol Then we seen the sign advertising a Multi Dealership sale at St. Albert Mall so we figured we'd check it out. There we met Ludwig who went with us on a test drive on a newer Denali (which I thought originally I wasn't going to pay THAT mush for a vehicle). He showed us all the options that the vehicle was already equipped with, the towing capacity etc. and then I took it for a test drive vroom vroom! Took it on the Henday to test out how it handled on the highway VROOM VROOM!!! We even stopped by a friends house to get their opinion, Ludwig was great about that. There were a few little things that I wanted adjusted and Ludwig is making it happen. We dealt with Mike in Sales - really nice guy too! They are even making arrangements that my bug deflector will get installed where I work! I highly recommend Ludwig and the staff at Ron Hodgson! We have dealt with another Dealership in the past and were not happy at all. It's nice to do business with a company who sees you as people and not just a wallet. Keep up the Great work guys!! We have been dealing with this dealership for some time on our previous Chev truck and have been very happy with the service we received even though we did not purchase that vehicle there. That is why when we were looking for a newer replacement that would meet our needs now we went to Ron Hodgson. We stopped by the used sales lot and were approached by Todd, he was not as aggressive as some sales personal can be. He answered our questions, made some suggestions and gave us his card for further contact if we had more questions or further requirements. We went to the sales event at St Albert Place and looked at what was there in our price range and what we required for a vehicle. Todd was at the event and was very helpful with providing us with the opportunity to drive the final selection and was determined to get us into the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. Again he was not aggressive with us but was very aggressive with getting us the best deal possible. Once the deal was reached we went to the dealership to complete the sales agreement and make payment. Todd was there for us the whole way right down to picking up the vehicle that day. At the dealership we dealt with Vance Yue in the finance department who made sure we had all the information we needed regarding warranty and coverage details. He too was only interested in our best interest. It is not always that you can deal with a dealership that is only interested in the bottom line and will take the time to make sure the fit is right for the customer. We are experiencing a substantial increase in fuel economy with our new truck than we did with our old 1500. The savings are definately noticeable with the $1.28 per litre price tag at most of the gas stations.
