Awesome service I am from out of town and my entire purchase experience was 10/10. Everything was handled over the phone and via email. 2017 Tundra service Arrived in the service bay and was met with a smile and a good morning. Service staff was very friendly asked if I reguired shuttle service and then directed me to customer lounge as I was waiting for my vehicle. On completion of truck service was called by name and reviewed what was done to my truck and thoroughly explained what was checked. Given my keys and was wished a good day. I expected to have a very bad experience, but I didn't I did a lot of homework and that was respected by the sales team. It is still an adversarial system though. I have some observations about that: We all have ways to think about the categories of expenses in a new car purchase. I have my way of thinking of it and they have theirs. I know that is a strategy to get me to spend more and I think I dealt pretty well with the sales team and their categories. They were actually quite lovely. But when I went to the finance guy, he had a whole new way of describing the categories. Also he had his own sales pitch. I recognize the strategy, but was losing energy to deal with it. So trying to harmonize and keep on top of my way of thinking, the sales staff way of thinking and the financial persons categories was challenging at the end because of the length of the day (it was a two hour drive to the dealership) and the absence of food available on site. Not because I wasn't prepared. I personally think there should be a car buying doula service. A person does it so infrequently, you never get expert at it. Anyway, I was overall pretty happy. I was respected and I only spent a couple of thousand more than I wanted to. And I have the car I wanted. And they delivered it after putting the undercoating and and 3M protection on it. Very lovely of them. I feel that the service going forward will be good. More
