We have become aware that at the time that this review was posted the author was gainfully employed by a competitor in close proximity to our store. I find this review to be highly offensive to our organization in general and to Omar specifically. While the author was in the business and may have disagreed with our appraisal he had alternative means that he could have taken and doesn't warrant a slanderous review on our business.

This transaction was for a pre-owned vehicle from Precision Hyundai and it is our policy to allow any customer contemplating the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle from us to have the Vehicle inspected independently before the purchase is finalized. In this case the customer, who had expressed that they were mechanical inclined, and performed a thorough inspection on the vehicle on our site. Based upon that inspection and acknowledgement of the noted deficiencies it was agreed that the customer would accept the vehicle in its current condition with appropriate price adjustments. Despite having agreed that the vehicle was purchased in the then current condition, and several weeks of taking delivery of the vehicle, Precision Hyundai performed over $1000 in repairs as a goodwill gesture. However, the customer remained dissatisfied and approached the Better Business Bureau and AMVIC (Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council) the regulator body for licensed motor dealerships ( which Precision Hyundai is one) seeking further compensation. Upon review of the information provided by both the customer and Precision Hyundai, AMVIC and the BBB have seen fit to close file as no further action on Precision Hyundai's ' s part was deemed necessary.

Couldn't provide the vehicle within the time I needed it. Charged my credit card the holding fee after telling them no sale. Took 6 times plus the threat of getting a lawyer before returning my money. Do More

It is standard for Precision Hyundai to take deposits, however where our process and procedures cause dissatisfaction with our customers, I am always available to discuss circumstances to resolve the issues with our customers. Andrew Robinson – General Manager

My partner bought a gorgeous 2012 Sante Fe Sport in Fall of 2012 from here. Upon arriving, the salesman, in an attempt to be funny and "raz" my partner, ended up being very insulting. We were on time for More

This posting occurred prior to the issue being resolved with the customer. This vehicle was a pre-owned “off make” vehicle (non-Hyundai). The issue was found to be a known quality deficiency with the brand. This issued had been resolved without “any out of pocket” cost to the customer. However, not to inconvenience the customer any further, Precision Hyundai provided a courtesy car, while warranty repairs were completed by a dealership of the related brand. I believe in this case, we acted accordingly to resolve our customers issue and concerns. It is Precision Hyundai's goal to satisfactorily complete service on a vehicle the first time, every time. I have had nothing but problems with Precision Hyundai in SW Calgary. I'm pretty naive when it comes to cars and they saw me coming from a mile away! They are complete and total rip off artists! All kinds of More

It is Precision Hyundai's goal to satisfactorily complete service on a vehicle the first time, every time. Occasionally we are unable to achieve that goal and service is found to be incomplete or unsatisfactory. In those circumstances I would always invite clients to discuss their concerns with me personally in order that we may resolve these issues to their satisfaction. Andrew Robinson – General Manager

Lol! Thanks for the canned answer and only 4 years after the original post! You've got this social media and customer service thing on lock! I don't know if you were the same "manager" who made a million phoney handshake guarantees/promises to sell me my car? Either way you'll be happy to know I've diverted at least 4 people from buying a Hyundai and at least 2 from buying their Hyundai from you! So people like me won't be bothering you as much. To readers: since my last post I've had my sunroof "bar" break, the dashboard container's lid does not close properly and the trunk button has literally fallen into itself. All of these repairs were quoted to me as non-warranty repairs? The only thing the warranty seems to cover is if my engine exploded while the car was sitting at the dealership not running! Lol. Truly a joke that I am unfortunately the butt of! If you are thinking of buying a car then don't take my word for it take an honest look at the reviews. I saw one or two that were positive. The overwhelming majority are negative and there is a common thread between comments: dishonest, and treacherous behavior! Not a coincidence that many different people all agree! Oh, and you'll notice the common thread from Presicion's answers: the employees did it! They have no problem throwing the employees under the bus while I'm sure they had no problem with the extra money their business practices were bringing in. If you must buy a Hyundai I suggest going to Calgary Hyundai in the NE. I've had a couple of issues with them but nothing major or that they didn't eventually satisfy. Just saying?
