Hi Toraj Azadeh. We are quite surprised by your review. We do not want to discuss your personal information online, anywhere, but we must respond to clarify this issue. As you know, when you purchased your original vehicle a few years ago we worked hard to have you approved for financing, and recommended the purchase solution you required at that time. When you traded in that vehicle for your current one, we recommended that you keep the same types of additional protection that you had on the first one. And you did. When you decided, for whatever reason, that the extra protections were too expensive (after agreeing to the deal we fully presented and disclosed to you) we worked with you to help them be removed and refunded. As these are protections purchased from a third-party and not directly from us, this process did take some time, and that was out of our hands. We worked hard to satisfy your changing requirements and hope that you will continue to be a valued customer in the future.

now is me the one who surprised, because i never came to you to trade my car, you knew very well i loved my first car wich was low mileage and full option and i never want to trade or sell it, the only reason i came to you second time was my co signer, she was about to loosing a deal, because she was trying to get mortgage approval for purchase an apartment but she had a problem because of showing my debt in her credit history . and then me and my brother came to you for changing my cosigner and put under my brothers name, but you said that is not possible and we have to trade the car to be able change cosigner. you took advantage of us to be in rush for my first cosigner, she had one day away to get the penalty .... my first question, is that information true? we could not just refinance my first car and just change cosigner? my second question, do you think is fair some one buy a car from you with all the protections and insurance of 8 years you sell to him for totally 35000 dollar and after less than a year you buy same car from him for 9000 dollar? what happens to all the money i paid for insurance and protections i bout for 8 years for the first car? is that fair too? is that professionally normal in car business the sells persons give wrong information, and play with people fate and dignity? or that is just you mr riahi ? i went omvic and right after the trade and i talked to very nice lady name crystal johns and we check black book together and we fined out that kia uptima car low in mileage and fully option cust minimum 17000 dollar and she copied the page of black book for me and with nice letter i sended to jeneral manager of kia plaza in richmond hill and i asked very nicely to do something for difference wich was 8000 dollar and i explain what happening in my family because i couldn't explain to my wife and kids how this deal happened , but the manager didn't even respond me, then i speak with sells manager mr joe fishetti , and he did nothing neither . this is not something i can forget because every single time i drive this car i review the hole story in my mind. and i promise you this kind reputation definitely going back to you and because of you it will back to your company as well . :)

Hi Unhappy, we understand what you are saying and would like to clarify some points, as well, Jenny has spoken with your father, as he is a valued long-time customer at Plaza Kia, and he was satisfied when delivery of the new 2017 Sportage was made and when he was contacted a couple of days later. He also posted a review on DealerRater, 5-stars, as "Bought new car" – Greg on June 30, 2017. We always ask customers, on hard-to-find vehicles, what their best 3 colour options are, so that we can find the right vehicle with the options they desire, within their colour selections. As it happened, the colour of 2017 Sportage we could deliver to you within the time-frame you had was your second choice. Prior to signing the agreement to purchase you could have easily, and without any penalty, decided against taking this selection. There may have been miscommunication and misunderstanding about the taxes as you understood it. But unless you sell the car, and the next buyer is required to pay tax on the purchase, simply moving to a new province and registering the vehicle there does not require taxes on your initial purchase to be paid again (twice). Inter-province insurance is another matter, you need Ontario insurance here and Quebec insurance there, but the timing and residency and what that entails is best left up to a discussion with your insurance company. Rest assured, any car can be insured in Ontario, but there may be fine details to be worked out as you cross the provincial border as insurance does not carry across provincial borders after a period of time and you would need to register and insure your 2017 Sportage in your new home province. We do recognize that one of the keys did not work when you were taking delivery of your vehicle and we have now put in place a process of double-checking both sets of keys so that no one is ever inconvenienced again to have to have a key reprogrammed on their new vehicle. We do ask for 5-star reviews from our customers and we strive to make the entire purchase process as pleasant as possible, hopefully exceeding our customers’ expectations at the same time. When a 5-star review is not forthcoming we always have managers to speak with and avenues for our valued customers to make their dissatisfaction known to us (phone, email, in person and even review sites such as this one). We hope that your move does go well and that you grow to love your new 2017 Sportage in your new home.
