After looking at a lot of positive reviews I decided to go with Pickering Toyota for my service #3 appointment. On booking the first appointment, the reception person told me that charges for service 3 to go with Pickering Toyota for my service #3 appointment. On booking the first appointment, the reception person told me that charges for service 3 would be 155$ plus taxes and on arrival advisor Ivan told me it's 175$ plus taxes and I had to again go to reception to confirm the same and later on Ivan told me that reception does not have an updated rate list with them.Ivan then agreed to charge me with only 155$ plus taxes and I was happy with that after a few mins he came to me saying there is balancing and brake pads required cleaning which will charge me 150$ extra. If I do not do that the same day I have to pay 50$ extra during my next visit. So in the end I had to pay 350$ for their unsatisfactory service.  They are not able to resolve my cabin noise issue even after 2 visits to the dealership. On my first visit (9th Sept) I met service advisor Ivan and he said more time is required to diagnose the issue and I need to visit again in order to get my issue resolved. So I booked an appointment for the next day and visited them again. On reaching found that Ivan was on leave and had to deal with Advisor Ryan. He straight away said to me that he dont have any mechanic to look into my cabin noise issue and I will have to come back again. He gave me a printout for the next appointment saying I did not book any appointment today. I had to literally show him my phone message saying my appointment was booked for today at 2:30PM for this cabin noise issue. He then showed me my car history saying that the windshield was replaced by the previous owner and that might be the reason behind the noise and he will talk with the service manager to see if the car needs to be sent to North Bay Toyota. He finally then took my car and went for a ride to diagnose the issue along with 1 mechanic and within 5 mins he came back and said that the noise is coming from car tire and I asked him to change the tires and check if thats the issue and on that note he said they don't have any spare tires with them to diagnose it. I think being such a big brand we should not give such excuses to the customer. More
