I ended up putting a deposit down for what I feel was a very competitive price for a new truck. Unfortunately I ended up having to cancel the deal as when i dug into the vehicle information I found that the payload specification did not meet my need. The manager at Peel was understanding and helpful and immediately offered to fully return my deposit. I would recommend this dealership. More

Great customer service Our sales rep (Rocco) went over and above to make sure that we got the truck that we wanted. The truck was ordered and took about 6 weeks to get. Dishonest Sale Tactics This large and well-known dealership engages in fraudulent sale tactics to close the deals with their customers. I became a victim of such a case sce This large and well-known dealership engages in fraudulent sale tactics to close the deals with their customers. I became a victim of such a case scenario and was only able to uncover it at the time I came in to pick up my vehicle. The first bill of sale that I signed at the time of ordering a new vehicle contained incorrect financing information (such as payment amount and total cost of borrowing), which was later used to manipulate me into signing a new bill of sale with a higher interest rate (at the time of vehicle pick up), by using that incorrect financing information in the first bill of sale to convince me that I am actually getting a better “deal”, when, in fact, it was not and this can be easily proven with simple calculations. None of my concerns were properly addressed by the dealership staff. I had no choice but to sign a new bill of sale - as the car was ready and registered on my name already. At no point in time was a “new” financing terms communicated to me prior to my appointment to pick up the vehicle - although I asked about it at least 3-5 times both, the sales person, Sal, and the financing manager, Assad (Bond), over the phone. My request to my sales person to email me the final financing terms as a confirmation were all ignored - as they are “too busy” and everything is as stated in my first bill of sale. I only learned of new financing terms upon my arrival at the dealership, and only at the time of signing a new bill of sale and only because I did my due diligence and checked it before signing. The ownership was already done, half of the paperwork was signed, the car was mine, and I felt pressured to sign this new bill of sale and to leave. I felt that my sales person and the financing manager was both getting quite frustrated as I questioned them. I knew something was wrong and one of those two bills of sale was wrong, and was able to figure out where and which one by doing some simple mathematical calculations by using RBC’s car loan calculator online. However, I was told by both the sales person and the financing manager that the calculator is wrong, but their both bills of sale are correct. I have never double checked the calculations on my first bill of sale, assuming that I can trust such a huge dealership and could not even imagine that the numbers could be false. Given that the financing manager did not even attempt to explain how and why the numbers are wrong on the first bill of sale to me and, instead, he simply just tried to cover up for it by providing me with some unreasonable and false statements (such as he did us a favour by working out a better deal with the bank and asked them to calculate the payments and total cost of borrowing in a different manner to save us some money given that the bank approved me for a higher interest rate). This does not make any sense, which I told them. Higher interest rate means higher payment amount and higher total cost of borrowing given that the principal amount and amortization period remain same. However, the financing manager just ignored my concerns and still did not confirm that, in fact, they managed to make a mistake on my first bill of sale. In fact, the financing manager confirmed to me that there is no mistake on the first bill of sale as the computer did all the calculations. This is completely false allegations made by the financing manager and can be easily proven. PLEASE BEWARE AND DOUBLE-CHECK ALL NUMBERS ON THE BILL OF SALE PRIOR TO SIGNING IT - apparently you cannot trust even large dealerships to provide you with the correct amounts and calculations. More
