Worth buying a used car from a Dealership Our 17-year old Lexus was ripe for replacement, and decided to buy a 2-3-year old SUV to have a higher entry and seat for our age. The dilemmas were: Our 17-year old Lexus was ripe for replacement, and decided to buy a 2-3-year old SUV to have a higher entry and seat for our age. The dilemmas were: what make, and buying from a private seller, of from a dealership. After an extensive search, I selected three brands to compare: Mazda, Toyota, and Honda. The thought of running around to different places and sellers wasn't attractive. However, I found all these three brands at the right age, mileage levels, and price ranges, all at one place: Parkway Honda. When dropping in unannounced, their salesperson, Bryan (Niko) Austriaco, was more than happy to bring all these cars out, showed us the cars and went with us test-driving each. He was personable but professional, and gave us his objective opinions and unbiased recommendations. Eventually, we settled on a competitively priced 2016 Honda CR-V with just above 50k km, still under warranty for a few months, and as a Certified Used Vehicle, carries an 84-month - 160,000 km Power-train Warranty. We also got some "change" for our old trade-in, which reduced the HST payable as well. Upon receiving our "new" vehicle, we discovered some discrepancy in the documentation, due to some combination of human errors (we are all human after all...), but it was all straightened out and settled amicable by Management, and we are very happy with our CR-V. Niko has looked after us conscientiously throughout, and I would strongly recommend him at Parkway Honda. Buying a used car from a Dealership, such as Parkway Honda, surely beats buying privately, even if it might cost a bit more. More

He then referred us to ANDREW CHAN for the test drive and the rest of the process. Andrew was always pleasant and tried very hard to be helpful. It was a long sales cycle for Parkway Honda and for us (fully 6 months). Partly because we were not in a rush and also because there was a long wait for the 2.0 litre model reach market and then significant time to fulfill the order from Honda. Parkway Honda probably don't claim to win customers on price but rather on their full and professional service. It is a big, well-resourced dealership and they know what they are doing. More
