She explained things to me clearly and didn't rush through the procedure of work needed. Previously, I had taken my car in for service at a city Dodge dealer where I bought the car. I came to expect a certain style of service and treatment from my experiences at the service dept. Here, I found the atmosphere friendly and relaxed which made a good impression on me. Every car owner will need service from time to time. We want good work done on our cars; we pay a lot for it. And we want to be treated with respect and have the work needed laid out and have the final OK on work done. I did receive such treatment. I will be having more work done when a needed part comes in. Very poor experience. The servicing of my truck was great. However, the conduct of your employees was definitely unsatisfactory. I pulled my truck into the bay to get its r The servicing of my truck was great. However, the conduct of your employees was definitely unsatisfactory. I pulled my truck into the bay to get its required oil change done. A service employee, Annette, typing on her computer, told me someone would be right with me. As she continued to type, she cussed, using the Lord's name in vain. I was turned off. Disgusted, actually. I continued to wait, another 10 minutes until someone else helped me out. In my many years of experience in the customer service industry, customers come first. You drop what you're doing in order to help your customer...not allowing them to wait for more than 2 or 3 minutes. As I waited, another disgruntled employee, Richard, was yelling across the service area to a coworker. I assume it was the manager, walked calmly to the upset employee and told him to calm down. Yes, that was the right thing to do, but not in public. Pull the employee aside, where there are no customers, and talk with him there. The gentleman that ended up helping me, Vincent, was very nice and helpful. That was my only positive experience that day. Then, when my truck was finished, I received a call 40 minutes before they closed. I live out of town and my husband was in the city. Giving 40 minutes to come get your vehicle is just not acceptable. Unfortunately, even though I bought my truck at Grove Dodge, I won't be returning. I'll find another Dodge dealership to continue my business with. More
