Do Not Deal With Parkland Dodge! Their sales department is the most shady dealership I have ever dealt with. My salesman Jeff Kellett is not an honest person. I was shopping for a new half ton dodge and Je is the most shady dealership I have ever dealt with. My salesman Jeff Kellett is not an honest person. I was shopping for a new half ton dodge and Jeff got me interested in the Classic body Warlock. He proceeded to send me a build sheet for a truck and got me very interested in all the options it had. I was especially interested in the fact that it had the upgraded Alpine stereo system. He "brought in" the truck that we had discussed and I was happy with. Jeff sent me pictures of the truck when it showed up to his dealership on Thursday October 7th. We then made arrangements for me to come up from Red Deer on Saturday to see the truck. When I got to the dealership on Saturday I took the truck for a quick test drive but I wasn't 100% sold on it. Some negotiations went back and forth and it ended up that the dealership was going to install tow mirrors and a set of fifth wheel rails on it. Once the parts were installed it was to be delivered to me in Camrose so I didn't have to come back up to Spruce Grove. Jeff told me he would personally deliver the truck on Thursday October 14th. I tried to get ahold of Jeff on the Wednesday to confirm the delivery but was unable to get ahold of him. I ended up talking to Tyler (sales manager) to find out what the plan was and he said he'd get back to me the next day. When Tyler called me the next day he told me the truck would be delivered first thing Friday morning. The next call I received from Tyler was first thing Friday morning to tell me that they got the wrong mirrors I'm but they would still deliver my truck that day. He told me the mirrors were only 4 days away and they would ship them to and have them installed in Red Deer because of the inconvenience. Once I took delivery of the truck I realized it was missing the Alpine stereo system that the build sheet listed. I talked to Jeff and he told me that they had explained to me before I signed any paperwork that they couldn't get the previously discussed truck and got another one that was close but had less options. This was never discussed or I never would have made a deal. The mirrors took 2 weeks to arrive at Spruce Grove Dodge and then another week for them to arrive at my dealership in Red Deer. The installation went great except for when I went to pick up my truck I was told that Parkland Dodge had requested my factory mirrors be sent back to them for some reason. I called their service manager Neil who lined up the install for me to ask why they would get my factory mirrors back. Neil told me that it was part of my sales contract that I returned the mirrors back to them. I checked all my paperwork and nowhere in anything I was given does it say anything even mentioning mirrors as part of the deal. This deal as a whole was shady from a truck being substituted with no mention, to promises not being fulfilled, to paperwork or special details to not be included. I will never do business with Spruce Grove Dodge again. More
