Went in for a recall ended up with a new 2016 Rebel I went in for a few recalls on my 2013 Ram Big Horn. My wife wanted to look at the new Renegade while we were there. I was asked what I was driving I went in for a few recalls on my 2013 Ram Big Horn. My wife wanted to look at the new Renegade while we were there. I was asked what I was driving and the sales teams eyes lite up and asked me I wanted to sit down and talk numbers. Needless to say the numbers came back very good. Very nice dealing with Sean. When it came time to dealing with the finances Francois (Frank) was very nice and friendly and took the time needed to explain everything. I picked up my 2016 Ram Rebel on December 31st. Still waiting on a few things to be installed, side steps and spray in bed liner, but I have great confidence it will get done shortly. More
Spencer was great, he knew the vehicles inside and out. I was at the dealership on the worst weather day of 2015. He also showed me an alternative to the vehicle that I was looking for at a lower price, while still providing all the features and functionality of the model I was looking at. More
Breach of Disclosure and bad experience dealing with mgm I would NOT recommend for anybody to purchase a vehicle from Ottawa Chrysler Jeep Dodge (900 St Laurent Blvd). This dealership can’t be trusted (they I would NOT recommend for anybody to purchase a vehicle from Ottawa Chrysler Jeep Dodge (900 St Laurent Blvd). This dealership can’t be trusted (they did NOT disclose all things they are required to for the vehicle I purchased) and as soon as the deal is done (they have their $$$) they turn your back on you. I have tried to resolve the issue directly with the dealership, then by following the formal process as defined by OMVIC (Ontario’s Vehicle Sales Regulator) and also through the BBB (they have a “C” rating) – the dealer has not been willing to resolve the issue. It has been 5 months. I purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester from this dealership in August/2015 and they misrepresented the Forester – they did NOT follow the MANDATORY DISCLOSURES they are required to as mandated by Ontario Vehicle Dealers Act (OVDA). The OVDA requires dealers to disclose specific information about each vehicle being sold. The mandatory disclosures are defined on the OMVIC web site (DealerRater.ca does not allow URLs to be posted). For my Forester, the Ottawa Chrysler did not disclose that the Forester was modified from the original manufacture specification and that this affect the manufacturer warrantee (e.g potentially no warrantee) by the previous owner having a third party remote starter installed. Breach of Disclosure - related to alteration of the Forester by a non-authorized person (electrical changes) which can affect the warranty. This was confirmed by Subaru. This fact the warranty can be affected was not disclosed to me verbally or in the contract.. Having this knowledge would have affected my purchase decision. I am currently having an electrical problem with the rear door of the Forester which should be covered under warrantee, but in discussion with Subaru, they said it may not be covered because of the non-authorized changes performed. Summary of Disclosures not discussed or written in my contract include 1. Statement 22 from on the OMVIC web site: “22. A statement of any other facts that could be expected to influence the decision of a reasonable buyer or lessee to purchase or lease the vehicle on the terms disclosed in the contract. “ 2. Disclosure required if the vehicle has been modified from the original manufacture specification - which affects the warrantee. See this OMVIC video at ~22:30+ time frame on a OMVIC Webinar on the OMVIC web site (URL is not allowed to be provided). The most frustrating part of this is that the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) are to inforce the Ontario Dealers Act (OVDA) on behalf on the Ontario Government have absolutely no power over individual dealers. OMVIC is to protect consumers but they can NOT do anything when a dealer does not follow all MANDATORY DISCLOSURES they are required to disclose. Looking at the OVMIC web site, I see 8 or the 11 members of the board of directors represent Dealers, so it is not really too much of a surprise that consumers are NOT protected More
Poor after sales service. Overall the staff was friendly and the sale was okay. It was the after sale service that was very poor. Prior to agreeing to make the purchase of my Overall the staff was friendly and the sale was okay. It was the after sale service that was very poor. Prior to agreeing to make the purchase of my used Ram 1500 I was ensured that there would be a second key. (Having purchased used vehicles in the past I was aware that they don't always come with 2 keys) When I picked up the vehicle they could not find the second key. I kept asking ... they said they were looking for it. Finally after 2 weeks I spoke to the used sales manager Mike and he didn't want to give me a new key until he was sure he couldn't find the old one. He said give me a week and I will look and see if I can find it. I called him after a week, left a message .. no reply. Called the next day left a message ... no reply. Finally I called Francois and he said he would talk to Mike. I heard nothing so after work I went to see what was going on. I talked to Francois, apparently Mike said he would look one more time and call me back he, didn't. He came out and looked while I was there, couldn't find the key so he said I will order you one. I was hesitant that he was actually going to do that. So before leaving I checked at the parts counter to see if they had the keys in stock. And of course they did. But ... Mike had to order one? Finally Francois ensured that I would get the key and get it programmed no charge. I don't think that having to wait almost 4 weeks for a second key that I was promised when I purchased was acceptable. Thank you to Francois. He seemed to be the only one that cared about customer service. More

Once Recently purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I had planned to test drive it and the go check out two other SUVs before making a purchase decision. Once I drove the Jeep Cherokee and heard what Kevin had to say about the car, I never went to the other dealerships. I stayed here and bought the car. Everyone at the dealership (Herbie, Kevin, Mike, Frank and Tim) were amazing. Friendly, attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and adaptable when necessary. Overall, an excellent experience and I love my new car! More

Winter Tires on and Wiper Wires The service I received at Dodge was above excellent. I came in for winter tires and due to an error on my part, the wrong size was ordered. Kevin Hu The service I received at Dodge was above excellent. I came in for winter tires and due to an error on my part, the wrong size was ordered. Kevin Hurdis clearly explained the situation to me, and was able to quickly reorder and get correct tires installed in a very timely manner. He was extremely helpful and kind. The front desk service from Byron was also very friendly and efficient. My car also had some trouble with the motor on the front wipers. Warren Haywood not only worked on my vehicle, but took the time to carefully explain to me what was wrong, and what the plan was to correct the problem in terms that I would understand. Kevin and Warren kept constant contact with me and gave me updates as to what was happening with my car. Their fast, friendly and excellent service was very much appreciated and I would recommend them to anyone needing assistance. More
Worst Car Buying Experience EVER Recently purchased 2015 SRT Jeep as internet purchase. Deal was agreed to by phone and I made it emphatically clear to Francis Abouchakra that I woul Recently purchased 2015 SRT Jeep as internet purchase. Deal was agreed to by phone and I made it emphatically clear to Francis Abouchakra that I would not be interested in any extra warranty, rustproofing etc etc. Arrived to pick up vehicle to find car not ready and that the finance contact was not ready apparently since Francis was laying in wait to upsell me on high profit extras. ie. service contracts etc. I again stated I was not interested and he became abusive in his attitude since I would not allow him to convince me to spent thousands of dollars on BS and that I could go and wander around until he finished his paperwork. I wandered to by trade-in and was preparing to leave and except for the intervention by M. Gervais and G. Zobl the deal would of been lost. Ended completing paperwork w/another finance person. I , have purchased numerous high end vehicles in past and have had the high pressure sales tactics used to sell warrranties etc. Francis apparrently does not understand plain English, NO means No. Stay clear of this dealer if this is the type of employee they present to handle finacing. A distastful experience overall. More
