I was going in for an oil change for my ATS 2016, which was advertised at $79.95. I was quite surprised when the bill came after the service was completed and it was showing $96 plus taxes for a total of $ was advertised at $79.95. I asked what was the catch and I was told that the « special price » was for 5 litres of oil. My car requires 6 litres of oil, something that was not mentioned beforehand. The second problem was that the agent said I should get my transmission oil changed because my car was approaching 83 000km. I told him I would need t9 make another appointment for that. I was a little curious about that suggestion and looked through my recommended maintenance guide and could not find any reference to a required transmission oil change anywhere. Even the dealership in-house guide only suggests a transmission oil change at 96 000km, so it really feels like this was a scam. Unfortunately, it is the dealership where I originally bought my car…..never again… More
