Teamwork very evident when we were there, everybody busy, but when not tied up, willing to help out with additional information or obtaining brochures. Marie McKevitt has strong interpersonal skills and came across more as a friend than a sales representative hyping a vehicle. Very sincere, came across as genuinely interested in your history with vehicles, your preferences/concerns about past Hondas (none!). Marie accompanied us on the test drives for Oddysey and Pilot, was candid about not knowing answers to all of our questions but very prompt in obtaining answers at the dealership. No BS!!! Pricing was good in that it was better than that being offered in a Calgary dealership....and since no one is perfect in any rating, I had to temper enthusiasm in at least one category!! We were impressed with everything we saw, felt and heard at Okotoks Honda, will be getting our new Pilot serviced there, and look forward to building a great relationship --- a first for us and a car dealership! More

I had been told from family friends that Okotoks Honda had a great reputation for service and fair prices. Majed and Marie were most accommodating in fitting my family with our vehicle. Kevin and Brad offered honest, helpful advice that even made financing our vehicle a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Okotoks Honda to anyone, and in fact, I have already passed Marie's name onto two of my friends who are looking to purchase a new vehicle in the next few months. I live in Cochrane so before making the hour drive down south I emailed the guys regarding an Ad I saw on AutoTrader. Within minutes I had a reply from the General Manager (Asif) answering every question I inquired about with full transparency. If this was any other dealership, a scripted email would have been sent back with vague answers and an attempt to lure you into the dealership with one purpose in mind; qualify you for purchase with questions like: "What do you do for a job?", "What do you drive now?", "What kind of price range are you looking at?" and "When are you looking to buy?". Not at Okotoks Honda, Asif was readily available to answer and discuss the car through multiple email exchanges and even had the car the car brought up to my work (North Calgary) so that I could test drive the vehicle. I was immediately impressed that I was getting this kind of customer service from the General Manager! When I arrived at the dealership a few days later, I was immediately greeted and treated with respect by all the staff (Berten, Al-Amin, Alif etc). At this point, I was expecting Asif be too busy and hand me off to someone else, shifting his role to 'bad cop' so that when price discussions started I would need to filter my negotiation through a random sales associate. Wrong. Asif continued to handle the transaction in a first-class manner while ensuring I was introduced, connected and comfortable with his team at the dealership. After a seamless and non stressful 2 hours, I had traded in my Acura TSX and purchased a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L which would be ready for pick-up the following day! The experience doesn't stop there though... After having the vehicle for 24hours, I noticed that there was a subtle rattle on the first start up that I had missed during my test drives. I hit the internet and found this was a common issue with a published Honda TSB on how to rectify this problem. I emailed Asif and explained the problem I was experiencing, however the vehicle was out of it's warranty and I had not purchased additional coverage (I was buying a Honda with 50,000km) so I expected this to be brushed off and at my expense. Well, that evening I received an email from Asif explaing that he would take care of this and not to worry. I was put in touch with his Service Manager where we would setup an immediate appointment to resolve this issue. Overall, dealing with the team at Okotoks Honda has been extremely personable and refreshing. Welcome to the car dealership of the 21st Century - buying a car with these guys really can be easy and stress free, even after your purchase! More
There is no way this dealership rated a high average - I would suspect that they have rigged the rating system. Here's why these guys are exactly the sleazy car salesmen you're trying to avoid: I brought my car in for a free point inspection that turned into a $200 inspection. My inspection included a tire rotation - but to put on winter tires instead of the all seasons it would cost me an extra $50. When I bought my car Honda told me that it was always best to use synthetic oil and I have been doing this for three years now. When these guys changed my oil they took out synthetic and replaced it with the cheapest oil on the market. They said that I needed new brakes and when I got a second opinion I was told that my brakes are still at 40%. They also said that I needed a new cabin filter and this surprised me the most because I had the cabin filter changed two months earlier (I took a look at it and it was as good as new, meaning that they didn't even check it and because my car was 3 years old they just assumed I needed a new one). I also asked them to check one of my all season tires for a leak because it has been an issue ever since buying the car and their recommendation was to buy four new all seasons. My car has less than 70,000 kms and the all seasons have been on my car for ~30,000 kms of these. I had a second and third opinion at other shops about my tires and I was told that they were not even close to used up. We are in the market for a second vehicle and I was very surprised at their effort to rip me off of $200 in service. We are actually very happy with the Honda that we bought and will be buying a CRV as a second car. I thought that taking my business to another dealer would be enough but I needed to write this review. More

They ensured that i knew what i was looking for and introduced me to the car that suited my needs. We discussed finances and duscussed what would fit into my life style and my budget. I knew that they would get into the car iof my dreams. When we discusses the features and what could fit into my budget i was surprised of what could be offered into my car i was thoroughly pleased with the idea of getting tinted windows and bkuetooth technology in my car, things that were not discussed in my initial purchase of my vehicle in 2008. I had wish these things were talked about when i wanted to purchase my 2008 honda. Trellis and Majed completely understood me from the moment I walked into the dealership and i would definitely work with them again and more likely purchase another honda from this same dealership. trellis was very imformative on the car and was very thorough when i came to pick up my civic. I left the dealership fullyunderstanding on how to use my car and all the features it came. All in all i just felt likei was wanted and that is very rare in customer service now a days because i work in the industry and now the world we live in. Thank you for everything. More
We went in looking for a used Pilot, and left with a brand new one! Berton, Asif, Brad and Cam were all very professional and were open to negotiation on our trade-in, new vehicle price, etc. in order brand new one! We live on the NW side of Calgary, so not exactly convienent to get to Okotoks, but if this first experience at Okotoks Honda is any indication I can virtually guarantee we'll make the drive back there for our next Honda. Yesterday (July 27, 2012) I experienced rudeness from Okotoks Honda dealer while went to get a quote for a new Honda Pilot. I was very specific about the car, didn't do any drive/show around wasting anyones time, mentioned about my desire to replace my current Pilot with a new one and asked for a quote for cash purchase. They showed lack of interest in providing quote until firm commitment to purchase the vehicle on the same day. The sales man (Majed Larbe) showed audacity to aggressively ask me to give him the reasons why I didn't buy my current Pilot from them 3 years ago while they provided me the quote. Until then he will not provide me the quote. Also mentioned that they don't work free to provide quotes. This dealership needs to train their employees. Their salesman don't know about the basic concepts of "better deal". You don't give a better deal in your product, people don't buy it from you, they go somewhere else. It's always customer's choice. You can't charge/accuse a customer for not buying a vehicle because he didn't like the deal that time. I guess their expectation is that every customer who walks in their showroom has to buy a car, otherwise they will misbehave with them. I wonder the salesman buys his own car on the spot before doing any shop around!!! They lack basic requirement of a dealership: courtesy. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Cameron Mcallister was the worse dealer that I have ever dealt with. He seemed very uneducated about Honda products. He also did not seem to understand how to calculate car prices as he could not explain pr dealt with. He seemed very uneducated about Honda products. Then to top it off he would not even give me a sheet with price breakdowns on it! I would never recommend him to anybody! More
